This property is a delightful restored rustic Provencal farmhouse which has been tastefully modernised but still retaining many original features. It is situated in a small hamlet just off the D8 in a secluded walled garden and a beautiful heated salt water swimming pool measuring 10x5 metre. It is nestled in the heart of Gigondas vineyards, with views over the vines, ideal location for walking, wine tasting, or just relaxing. There are several wine festivals especially in July, including Violes our closest village, Vacqueyras, Cairanne and Rasteau to name but a few, and 20 minutes from Chateauneuf-du-Pape.
There is a market to be found in the area every day of the week.
Let whole weeks only from Saturday, you can move in from 3pm and out by 10am.
All bed linen, bath towels and extra pool towels provided.

The accommodation consists of:
Master bedroom (king size) with ensuite with bath and shower, access to terrace, stairs leading to living room.
3 further bedrooms (1 king, 1 double, 1 twin beds) .
2 further bathrooms (1 with bath and shower, 1 downstairs shower only).
All bedrooms have chest of drawers, wardrobes and fans.
Kitchen includes large fridge with freezer, further fridge, dishwasher, oven, gas/electric hob, kettle, Nespresso machine plus cafetiere and filter coffee m/c, very well
equipped with pans, casseroles, serving dishes, bowls, plates, cutlery etc.
Utility room equipped with washing machine, iron and ironing board, microwave, indoor drying rack, larder off this.
Dining room has a large extendable table with seating for 10+, sideboard with mats and table cloth.
Sitting room with TV for videos only, there are steps to our paperback library on the mezzanine (we operate a book exchange).
Beyond sitting room is the bar and barstools with further fridge/freezer glasses, sink, and beyond another living room with stereo system, cupboard with board games and boules set, large wooden box with outdoor cushions and lounger mattresses, drinks fridge.

The farmhouse is surrounded by vineyards and set in a secluded walled garden with metal double gates, shaded parking for 2-3 cars (this is also a boule court),

The garden is very colourful with various colours of Oleander, there are many pots full of flowers. We have a herb garden for the use our visitors, including rosemary, verviene makes lovely tea, sage, oregano, thyme and mint plus parsley and chives in pots. There is a purple fig tree when in season and another just outside the gate with green figs.
4 bikes for use by holiday makers.

Closest supermarket 10 mins, others a bit further but there are several local shops including a good butcher and bread shops.
Many villages have a wine shop (Gigondas, Vacqueyras, Cairanne, Rasteau, Sablet etc) where you can taste many wines without having to go from place to place if you don't want to, they sell at the same prices as the Domaine. There are also several wine festivals in July and a few in August all free after the purchase of a glass.
