The Vaucluse is known for its scenic beauty and historic interest. Goult is a lovely village stretching up a hillside looking over to the Luberon mountains south and Mont Ventoux to the north. Exploring the area on foot,bicycle or car offers endless possibilities - footpaths, small historic villages, the large market town of Apt, Bonnieux, Rousillon, Gordes, Cavaillon, the Luberon national park. Local markets abound and there are many restaurants and vineyards to visit. Historic Avignon is only 25 miles away.
Les Pradets has two patio areas, one looking directly out to the village across the small valley.
The property is set in a terraced cultivated area on the edge of and looking up towards Goult which has a local bar, restaurants and shops and attractive winding narrow streets leading up to a panorama with views across to the Luberon Hills.
The area is cultivated with vineyards, cherries, melons.
The property was built in 1861 in traditional stone style with recent additions and improvements in 2007. The nearest house is approx. 100 yards away.

Goult village has a post office, doctor, 4+ restaurants, baker, butcher, general store and there is a chemist in the smaller village, Notre Dame de Lumieres, at the foot of Goult.

There are Markets in Apt ( Saturdays ), Cavaillon ( Mondays ) , L,Isle sur Sorgue ( Sundays ), Coustellet ( Sunday farmers market in Spring/Summer ).
There are swimming pools in Apt and Cavaillon.
There are Wine cooperatives in Notre Dame de Lumieres, Cavaillon and Gare de Bonnieux and several local vineyards open to visitors ( eg. Le Verriere in Goult and La Canorgue near Bonnieux ).
Excellent local walking in the surrounding area.
Within easy reach of the TGV at Avignon and the airport at Marseilles.
