A charming stone built barn conversion in the village centre of Grasmere in the Lake District National Park.If you are looking for somewhere to stay and not move your car then this the place.Numerous walks from the village centre both flat and over the fells.

This two bedroom cottage is in a courtyard setting and offers weekly lets throughout the year plus out of season short breaks, is also offers a parking space for one car.
Built in local stone with beamed ceilings to part, the cottage was converted in 1989 from the barn used originally by the village baker for storing flour and stabling his horse and cart.The centre of the village is just a 1 minute walk from the cottage and is in a very quiet, private courtyard with southerly aspect.
The cottage sleeps four (two double beds) and has full central heating plus double glazing. It offers an attractive lounge with views of the fells, well fitted open plan kitchen comprising gas hob/electric oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, colour TV, DVD, CD player & free WIFI. The two bedrooms and the modern bathroom are on the ground floor and the cottage is sometimes described as the "upside down "cottage as the bedrooms are on the ground floor.
The cottage next door, number 2, is also owned by us and is used by the family on occasions but is not let out to the public.

Outside there is a sunny courtyard with picnic table and chairs and parking for one small car, please note the access is narrow, however we do supply a free parking pass for the near by car park for the week useable in a number of other South Lakeland car parks (list in the cottage)
Linen is provided including hand and bath towels. Beds are made up for your arrival.
All gas/electricity charges are included
