Description
A beautiful provencal vineyard directly opposite our Villa . We offer the self-contained and exclusive ground floor of our Villa which comprises approx 100 sq meters internal: 3 bedrooms (1 with en-suite WC with basin) Lounge and Dining area, Kitchen, 1 Bathroom, 1 Shower room. Sleeps 6 persons plus babies/cots Accommodation as follows (size approx in metres):Double Entrance Doors leading to Lounge (4.8 x 5.6) with fireplace and dining area, 2 settees, 1 double sofabed, dining table with 6 chairs. Smart TV. A high chair is available.
Modern fitted kitchen updated 2021 (1.6 x 4.1) has a dishwasher, electric induction hob (4 x hotplates), electric oven, microwave, fridge/freezer. Washing Machine is outside on terrace. Double windows overlook the terrace, front garden and swimming pool.
Bedroom 1 (5 x 3.5) has en suite WC and wash basin with a double bed, hair-drier. A cot is available. There is a connecting door to Bedroom 2.
Bedroom 2 (2.5 x 3.5) double or 2 single beds.
Bedroom 3 (2.5 x 2.9) double bed.
Bathroom 1 with shower, bath & wash basin.
Bathroom 2 with shower, WC & wash basin
Swimming Pool (8.5 x 4) with pool surround and sunloungers. The pool is not for Olympic swimmers, it is designed for family use, has a built-in bench/seat in the 1.0m shallow end and the deep end is 1.80m. Pool Heating is not always required so please check with us a price for your stay dates.
Children's play area (you don't need to bring any toys, we have more than enough).
Private Walled Terrace/Patio area (3.5 x 11) . with cupboard enclosing washing machine.
Archway into Walled Side Terrace/Patio Area (4 x 11) seating area, garden table & chairs.Off street Parking for 3 or 4 cars.
Most of our clients hire a car from the Airport on arrival and there a many rental companies offering great services at competitive prices.
We operate on a Sunday arrival & departure day, unless otherwise agreed/arranged by us. Check-in at 15h00, Check-out at 10h00.
From the nearest village of Grimaud (3km) you can take the little white train service to and from Port Grimaud; this saves you having to drive, worry about parking or having a drink or 2 (and the roads can get very busy in the Summer).
Car Hire - we can recommend the best company to suit your requirements.
Food Shopping Service: we can provide anything you require from a couple of fresh baguettes, croissants and fresh milk, to a comprehensive list of your expected weekly requirement. We know the best places to shop and will recommend these to you if you wish to shop yourself, but you may prefer to lie back on the sunlounger or do some sightseeing and leave the burden of the grocery shopping to us... Either way, you will arrive to see the basics already in the fridge so you don't have to worry about finding fresh milk for your little one or wine to toast your arrival late at night.
Meal Services: we can supply you with a hearty meal for your first night to save you the worry, just tell us your preferences but for simplicity we can provide anything from Coq-au-Vin with French Bread and a bottle of the local red to Shepherds Pie topped with melted cheese and home made Apple Pie with Cream. We'll even have a go at Bouillabaisse if you really want. Just Order it!! ....and it will arrive. Or maybe you would prefer to be left to your own devices - no problem !
Babysitting Service available (we are parents too and live on site).
Be sure to obtain your Holiday Insurance and Medical Cover before you leave in case you require Medical Assistance during your Holiday.
We provide all bed linen and towels which are changed every Sunday.
Self contained electricity and water is included in our weekly price for your accommodation. However, we reserve the right to charge for any additional heavy usage of electricity or water.Laundry service available at extra cost (we can arrange as much or as little as you require; why not return home with all your clothes clean?).
For the really extravagant or special occasion (anniversary or birthday) we can arrange boat/yacht charter days where you can taste the experience of the Cote D'Azur from the Mediterranean - why not have a day or afternoon out cruising around the bays that you can never get to by car? It may not be as expensive as you might think. Pre-order your preference of drinks, snacks or meal and we will arrange everything. You can go to Club 55 for lunch if money is no object and you'll be specially collected from 'your' boat by the restaurant tender in true VIP style. But there are plenty of other more reasonable places you can go if you really don't wish to dine with Joan Collins, Pamela Anderson, Mick Jagger, the paparazzi or any of the others.The Family Brown will do their very best to make sure you have a happy holiday in a beautiful part of the world that you'll want to recommend to your friends and we hope you'll even want to come back again yourselves. Location is fantastic as we are in a quiet country lane but only minutes away from old Grimaud with easy access to all local attractions. No need to get caught up in the busy traffic of the coast road around bay between Ste Maxime, Port Grimaud & St Tropez.

By The Rich Family on 12-Sep-2025We spent a fortnight at the fantastic Villa L'Amiraute near Grimaud. My parents were returning to the property after 40 years and they had great memories to live up to. This property did not disappoint. Our hosts Jonathan and Sharon and the care and attention that they have brought to the Villa really made the holiday for us. From our first interactions with them before our stay they were responsive and extremely helpful. Making arrangements regarding our stay was straight forward and, having lived in the local area for 20+ years, they made great recommendations. This continued when we arrived - they provided a care package with some treats for our first day (including biscuits, milk, tea, coffee, water and wine), they drove us into Grimaud for a date night, hosted us for drinks and offered to prepare a meal for us and/or babysit during our stay. We even met their daughter. The property itself is clean and well equipped. The pool and surrounding area are safe (with a cover and a lockable gate) and beautifully maintained and they were set up for holidaying with our baby (high chair, travel cot, microwave etc.). Our sheets and towels were changed weekly. Both Grimaud and Cogolin are a few kms away. St Maxime, St Raphael and St Tropez are only a little further afield. A car and a confident driver are essential to get around the local area but with the exception of the routes immediately around the Villa, the local roads are very good. There is a winery a very short walk away (walkable with the push chair) where very good wine can be bought but not consumed and a more touristy option a couple of km away where they run tours, tastings and where one can enjoy wine on a terrace overlooking the vines. There are many local markets - la Croix Valmer on a Sunday is a fantastic mix of all the best things that Provence has to offer. The guest book in the property shows that some of their guests have returned for their 8th visit and we can see why! We will go back!

A gem of a find!
By Phil & Sara on 07-Aug-2025We have just returned from a weeks stay at Jonathan and Sharon's wonderful villa and can't wait to come back. The property itself was perfect - absolutely spotless, very spacious and we all felt instantly at home. The pool area is fantastic, a great size with plenty of room to relax. Couldn't have asked for more! Jonathan & Sharon were excellent hosts. They helped us figure out our itinerary (there is so much to see and do!) and even got us some food shopping until we could pick up our hire car. My wife and I, and our two children, miss everything about our trip already and we can't wait to go back. 5*, highly recommended.

A very pleasant week in a peaceful location within easy reach of the coast
By Anna Bristow on 10-May-2025Sharon and Jonathan made us very welcome and were on hand to help in any way required. The apartment had everything we needed including welcoming goodies. Sharon prepared a delicious meal for us on our first evening which saved us having to worry about having the ingredients for a meal or finding somewhere to eat out. We had travelled down through France in our campervan but wanted to hire a car so that we could drive around and park easily in places such as Ste Maxime and the hill towns in the area. Jonathan drove us to and from the car hire firm in Grimaud and helped us to sort out the rental. The pool was a good size and just the right temperature. Altogether a very enjoyable, stress-free experience. The only negative was the very poor reception on the television which Jonathan tried to remedy for us but was due to a poor signal.

August 2024 Home from Home

We arrived in need of a break & we've leaving (reluctantly) feeling very rested. We could n't have asked for more, it felt like a home away from home & we had everything we needed. Jonathan & Sharonwere amazing hosts with top tips, bookings & trips, it's great having them close by! We're lucky to have found this place & I have a feeling that we will be back ! A great place to stay
By Rovina on 03-Jul-2022We have just spent another 2 weeks at this lovely villa apartment.it is very spacious and all on one level, and is very well equipt with dish washer, washing machine,coffee maker, toaster etc. It has a good size pool situated behind a wire fence which has a gate that you can keep locked for safety if you have small children. Jonathan & Sharon are always on hand but not in an intrusive way, so if you have any problems or want advice on anything, it is easy to speak to them. Sharon cooks some very good evening meals, which is especially welcomed on the night of arrival, Over the years we have enjoyed Beef bourguignon, curry and chicken chassuer, all delicious. We look forward to many more holidays with them in this peaceful setting.
