Description
The spacious detached bungalow is ideal as a retreat for couples or families (5 adults max) wishing to enjoy a traditional beach holiday. Because of its unique beach location cars are parked on Aberdesach Green, which is overlooked by other properties. Easy access is gained over a small pedestrian footbridge and 140m along the beach. There is a wheelbarrow in the shed to help with your luggage. Niwl-y-Mynydd is one of 16 properties in this quiet, peaceful yet not isolated holiday paradise. The pebbly beach starts some 10 m from the front door with beautiful sands and rock pools at low tide. Because of the nature of the tides, the amount of sand varies from year to year. For many years 75% of our bookings have come from previous visitors who enjoy this wonderful setting. ONE well-behaved dog (max 25kgs) is welcome at a charge of £30.Notes

By Sue L on 19-Jul-2025We have just returned from yet another very enjoyable stay in Niwl-y-Mynydd at Aberdesach - a welcoming, comfortable, spacious cottage with all the facilities you could want or need, in a spectacular setting with the sea on the doorstep - well, a few metres away! We come back year after year to this very special place.
Dream come true
By C W Roberts on 07-Jun-2025Further to our stay at your cottage earlier in June I would like to forward our feedback: We have always enjoyed the Caernarfon area and Aberdesach beach in particular and decided that 2025 was the year we in fact were going to stay in one of the beach cottages . The search for the cottage came up trumps, a spacious beach cottage which accommodated up to 6 with a well behaved dog! Dream come true. Somewhat too good to be true maybe? After booking it early on in the year we were looking forward to our stay and when we arrived on the Saturday afternoon we were met with a spacious, well equipped , perfect location with all the essentials. Everything was catered for. A perfect retreat, with the seaview right in front, the table and chairs located at the front of the cottage perfect for the end of day dinner and relax until the light faded. Glowing sunsets, rolling waves, walk along the beach first thing in the morning and the afternoon was a must, it just helped to melt away the stresses of life. 2025 Tick the box achieved, however, that was not enough, we will be booking again 2026 and every year from now on! So excited, all family members both young and older have had the most relaxing holiday. Thank you for providing all the essential everyday equipment and making the cottage homely
