Wow
By Nicholas on 28-Jul-2022Wow what an amazing place! Stunning property with amazing views, very comfortable bed too. Sally and Chris were lovely and super helpful, advising us on what to do in the area. We had a fabulous time, it just wasn’t long enough so we will be back!
Marvellous
By Howard on 22-Jul-2022Storey Corner is a marvellous place to stay - each room has something a little bit special about it and that includes the entrance hall. Everywhere is beautifully furnished with lots of individual touches that make for a memorable stay. The patio area is large and very private with a wonderful view. Everything - the kitchen, en-suite bathroom etc - is first rate. I highly recommend a stay here - we would love to return.
Wonderful Accomodation
By David on 27-May-2022What wonderful accommodation - perhaps topped only by the setting. Lovely tranquil far reaching views. Nothing better than relaxing on the large patio. Sally & Chris wonderful friendly hosts. Will definitely return.
Wonderful property
By Liz on 30-Sep-2022A wonderful property in a beautiful, peaceful location. Perfect base to explore the North York moors. Rooms large with loads of storage and a lovely deep bath to soak in after a day exploring. Lovely extra touches such as robes and toiletries provided by Sally.
Honeymoon
By Ruth on 14-Oct-2022My husband (!) and I came to Storey Corey for the second part of a Yorkshire-themed honeymoon, and we don''t regret it! Sally was a great communicator and quickly responded to any questions we had - she also provided us with a list of nearby places of interest and places to eat (one of which, the Lion Inn at Blakey Ridge, was a very good shout and where I had some very nourishing jam roly-poly). The bubbly & chocolates & sherry were lovely touches too. Storey Corner is, as previous guests have noted, very roomy and airy, with plenty of space to relax and unwind. We especially loved lighting the log-burner in the living room, and also sitting down to candle-lit suppers in the kitchen. I enjoyed sitting outside in the morning too, watching the mist roll in the valley below. It was a short drive to nearby villages/towns, like Helmsley and Pickering, where we spent some time exploring, but also a great spot for adventures in the moors - we did plenty of gorgeous walks, all within around half an hour of Storey Corner in the car (and there are walk books supplied for guest use too). All in all, we''ll always think very fondly of our time in Hartoft - so thank you Sally!
Stunning holiday rental
By Leigh-Anne on 23-Feb-2023A stunning holiday rental in stunning surroundings. The photos do not do the beauty of the place justice. We felt very lucky to stay there and every aspect of our stay had been thought of.
