The holiday cottage overlooks the moat of Newtimber Place, which is about 7 miles north of the city of Brighton and Hove.
It is on one level with underfloor heating, the heat being drawn from the adjoining field by a heat pump.
It shares a garden with the adjoining holiday cottage and has its own table and chairs under a pegoda. The garden is fenced, but small children would have to be supervised as there is deep water the other side of the fence. It has been awarded 4 Star Gold for 2021 by the AA.
It was originally the stables, and the sitting room has a tall ceiling with exposed oak beams. The double bedroom has a shower/basin ensuite (the toilet is not-ensuite). The twin bedroom has a bathroom adjoining. There is an additional toilet in the utility room off the living room. There is parking for 2 cars.
There are lots of walks nearby and the cottage is within the South Downs National Park.
Towels, linen, central heating, hot water and electric are all included in the price. There is an EV charge point to charge your car - it's a 7.2KW mode 3 with a Type 2 socket so you'd need to bring your own lead.
We also include liquid soap, shower gel, washing up liquid, washing powder, tea and coffee etc
We regret we cannot accept pets as sheep graze adjoining the cottage.
We do not allow smoking inside the cottage.
