Description
Chateau de la Coutere is situated in the heart of southern rural France, Haute Garonne, in the Midi-Pyrenees, and offers you everything you would expect from French style and country living.The chateau is discovered at the end of its own private 1.5km country road, in the estate's secluded valley, surrounded by 60 hectares of its own parkland. Take a walk to the chateau's own waterfalls at the end of the woodland, or simply relax by the pool, the choice is yours.
With its original oak floors and characterful rooms in abundance, you will enjoy everything there is to be expected from a centuries-old chateau.
The recent renovations will guarantee you the familiarity and comfort of staying in a home from home environment, whilst finding yourself immersed in a truly secluded setting.
We welcome groups of families and friends who wish to book their holidays for full weeks during the summer and shorter stays for the rest of the year.
Decorated with antique, vintage, and contemporary furniture and art, there is plenty of room for everybody to relax and unwind as the chateau sleeps up to 15 people. There are six bedrooms and they all have access to en-suite facilities. The bedroom arrangement is also ideal for families or generations of the same family. Full linen and towels are provided for each room and included in the rental price.
The grand salon living room and dining room have been designed to accommodate large parties such as several groups of friends or families holidaying together.
In the summer, the south of France is all about the great outdoors and as much as you will like the inside of the chateau, you will adore the outside even more. Families love the intimate chateau for its large swimming pool and the chateau’s acres of grounds and woodland to explore - there's even tree swings and a trampoline for the young ones or even young at heart! Cook up a storm in the chateau's large kitchen, or cook in the great outdoors with the two barbeques by the pool. There's ample outdoor seating for everyone, with sofas to relax and tables at the front of the chateau, on the chateau's terraces and even next to the pool.
With the bakery just a walk away in the local village of Saint Laurent, you'll be spoiled with the fresh bread and pastries, and supermarkets and local towns are just 5 and 10 minutes away by car.
Your evenings will be filled with laughter as the sun sets over the pool, allowing time to swim right up until dusk and beyond. Enjoy refreshing drinks and an evening meal under the fairy lights as night falls.
Everyone falls in love with the chateau’s private setting and seclusion and we know that you will enjoy this idyllic setting as much as everyone else.

Wonderful stay at magnificent castle

The place is even more beautiful than in the photos: the bedrooms and bathrooms are huge, and the pool and facilities are top-notch. Everything was perfect from start to finish. Simply Amazing - An Unforgettable Retreat!

The owners were incredibly welcoming and friendly, making us feel right at home. This stay comes highly recommended for those seeking an unforgettable retreat. A hidden gem was the waterfall, even located on the premises, an experience to cherish and share.
