Leave ReviewA wonderful cottage with a stunning view.
By Emily on 16-Aug-2025A wonderful cottage with a stunning view. We enjoyed a lovey week with our 1 year old and dog. The cottage has everything you need and an enclosed garden. Great location in the lakes close to Tarn Hows, Grizedale Forest and Ambleside. We would very much recommend the cottage and hope to visit again in the future.
Lovely cottage in a beautiful setting.
By Annette on 23-Aug-2025Lovely cottage in a beautiful setting. The views over the lake are amazing. I couldn't reach the crockery in the corner wall cupboard so my tall husband had to bring them down. I didn't spot the step on stool that was tucked out of sight, until the day we were leaving
A haven of peace with a beautiful view.

An absolute gem
By Elspeth on 31-Oct-2024In a very quiet area with wonderful views from the lounge and bedroom windows across the fields and Esthwaite water with the bonus of a view of the The Old Man of Coniston on a clear day Very well appointed and spotlessly clean . Very easy to reach all the favourite places from this cottage and of course, Hilltop ,Beatrice Potter’s home is only a stroll away from this superb property. We have just finished our sixth visit to this cottage ! Ellie
