Mulberry Cottage has had a varied past dating back to 1850. It started out life as a millworkers cottage. It was extended and converted into a shop, operating as an off-licence and a sweet shop in years gone by.

During the 21st century, it was converted back to the cottage it is now.

A recent addition to the lounge is a rare antique grandfather clock made by John Barraclough of Haworth, clockmaker to the Brontë’s.

With an elevated view over the garden, the kitchen is recently fitted in a traditional cottage shaker style. It is well-equipped with a dishwasher, washer-dryer, microwave, retro fridge-freezer, kettle, toaster and all the cooking equipment needed for your stay. The private cottage garden is accessed by steep stone steps with a handrail. With a living willow fence, it is a lovely enclosed space with a view of the hills at the side. Wonderful stay

By Annie S. on 01-Oct-2025

We had a fabulous weekend break at Mulberry Cottage in Haworth. Super comfy and cosy, quaint, and felt like we were part of the Bronte experience! Everything we needed was there and the location is brilliant for walking into the truly gorgeous village of Haworth. Cannot recommend highly enough, we will definitely be re booking.

Perfect for two in Haworth

By Ken S on 12-Jul-2025

We’ve stayed at Mulberry Cottage several times over the last few years, always look to go back because the cottage is in an excellent location and is exactly what we look for in weekend accommodation. Well equipped, comfortable and nicely decorated – with the added interest of the historic grandfather clock in the living room! Happy to recommend Mulberry Cottage to anyone looking for two-bedroomed self-catering accommodation in Haworth.

Mulberry Cottage Haworth

By Christina S. on 27-Jun-2025

What a beautifully restored cottage. Old but very modern. All facilities catered for. My son and I had a wonderful 12 days exploring the area with visits to friends and goddaughter. Lots of lovely places to eat in Haworth. Very large Sunday lunch in The Fleece Inn. Recommend the Ghost Walk, Saltaire, Shibden Hall, Hebden Bridge and steam train rides

Cosy retreat in the centre of Haworth

By Lynda B. on 12-Jun-2025

Mulberry cottage is beautifully presented and spotlessly clean. The kitchen is well equipped and we very much appreciated the milk in the fridge, the tea and coffee, and the biscuits in the welcome pack. There were logs for the burner which, despite it being the first week in June, we made good use of! Both double bedrooms are spacious with ample storage space, and the bathroom is very well appointed. Its location is perfect for walks to Main Street with its many shops and eateries, the Brontë Parsonage museum and the steam railway to Keighley, and we were able to park our car on the road outside the cottage. The owner of the cottage is very personable and extremely helpful. I would not hesitate to recommend this cottage to anyone looking for somewhere to stay in the glorious Yorkshire Dales

Comfortable beds and lovely roll top bath

By Sam on 13-May-2025

Had a lovely peaceful week at Mulberry Cottage, easy to find, free parking right outside. Spotlessly clean and comfortable cottage, we especially enjoyed the bright light kitchen with table by the window and listening to all the birds singing from the garden and beyond. Pretty courtyard garden too. Very quiet area, but a short walk from the Main Street. Comfortable beds, lovely roll top bath, and everything provided for guests to enjoy their stay. Julie was very quick to reply to queries and helpful. We were very happy with our choice and sad to leave. Nice bus ride from along the road to Hebden Bridge through the Bronte country too.

A Perfect Place

By Bev Huson on 01-Jun-2025

Had a wonderful stay at Mulberry Cottage. The cottage was perfect. Spotlessly clean and everything you would need is provided. Thoughtful touches throughout making it feel like a home. Welcome hamper was delightful. The log burner on a damp evening was a hit with husband, as was the roll top bath with me. Very comfortable bed and plenty of wardrobe space. Brilliant communication from host, Julie. Thoroughly recommend Mulberry Cottage if looking for self-catering accommodation in Haworth.
