Where do I start.. just returned from 6 days/5 nights away at Rob and Rhodas annex. Honestly we have had the best time away! The annex has everything you could possibly want and is so well equipped. The beds are so comfy and the shower is amazing. Our highlight was sitting outside on the terrace/garden with a glass of wine in the sunshine most afternoons. Then the sunsets come which are incredible! It was such a peaceful relaxing stay (one we really needed!) The hosts (Rob and Rhoda) are the loveliest people we ever met. They were so friendly - from before we arrived with maps/recommendations through to answering my questions. On arrival we met Rob who was such a friendly face to see after a 5 hour drive.. he toured us around and showed us everything which was such a lovely touch. A cream tea was waiting for us which we had in the garden. Nothing was to much for Rob and Rhoda.. on hand for any questions or a general passing chat which was lovely. The annex is well located around 15 mins from St Ives and 8 mins from the nearest local beach. There also is a great pub walking distance and another great pub a short drive away. We found the annex to be so centrally located it was great for our days out! I would recommend this spot to anyone considering to come! We have just returned from a lovely week at Chy ryb Connerton. Rob and Rhoda were incredibly welcoming and helpful from the moment we booked. Everything has been thought of and they even loaned us a crate for our dog so we didn’t have to bring ours. The location is perfect - tucked away for peace and quiet, surrounded by fields but just five minutes to the nearest beach. The annex has everything you could need, extremely comfortable beds and well equipped kitchen. The garden offers exceptional sunset views and is totally secure for your dog(s). I would highly recommend the annex and Rob and Rhoda as hosts. Great pubs nearby that do lovely food and easily accessible to many local attractions. Top tip is to get the train to St Ives from St Erth to avoid trying to park and enjoy the coastal views from the train!
We‘ve just returned from a fantastic week’s stay with Rob and Rhoda! They were amazing hosts, nothing too much trouble and our doggie was made very welcome! We loved the cream tea & locally sourced shortbread biscuits on arrival - such a lovely, thoughtful gesture! The sunsets from the annex are beautiful, the private garden was perfect for Monty & it’s a couple of miles away from a dog friendly beach - fantastic! We can’t recommend the bungalow enough. We arrived as guests, but feel we left as friends
