Newly refurbished in 2021, Bow’s Pad holiday chalet is situated at Gwithian Sands Chalet Park, at the foot of the famous Gwithian Towans, overlooking the stunning St Ives Bay on the North Cornwall Coast.A perfect spot for surfing, windsurfing and kite-surfing or just chilling on golden sands of Gwithian beach. The chalet’s location is a great base for exploring the region with St Ives just a 15 minute drive away and so much more to do!
ACCOMMODATION
Refurbished in the Spring of 2021, the chalet offers a home from home experience. The chalet sleeps 4 with an option to add a 5th person / child on a camp bed. With 2 good size bedrooms, one double and one twin along with a good-sized bathroom with a bath and shower. The kitchen / dining area and lounge has been thoughtfully designed to offer maximum comfort
LIVING AREA
RELAXATION
The spacious lounge area has plenty of seating, a large 3–4-seater comfy sofa, a funky tub chair and 2 large bean bags so lots of space to sit back and chill after a tiring day taking in the sights of the stunning North Cornwall Coast. The 42” TV along with free Wifi will ensure you never miss your favourite Netflix box set!
Brand new kitchen offers everything a modern kitchen requires including a dishwasher, large fridge freezer and microwave. All crockery, utensils, saucepans, serving bowls and cutlery is provided. Just bring your food (and wine) or why not arrange a supermarket delivery for when you arrive!
CHECKING IN /OUT (SATURDAYS ONLY)
Check in is after 3pm and we ask that the chalet is vacated at 10am latest on day of departure
BEDROOMS AND BATHROOM
The bathroom has shower and a bath along with a shaving socket for those who still want to shave on holiday!
The double bedroom has a standard double bed and the twin room has 2 standard single beds. Both rooms have 2 bedside tables and a good size chest of drawers. There is a large cupboard opposite the twin room that has ample space (coat hangers provided) for anything that needs hanging rather than folding. Duvets, mattress protectors, pillows and pillow protectors are all provided. We can if required provide a folding camp bed for a 5th person/child
Outside
There is brand new decking complete with table and chairs, BBQ and sun loungers.
We are happy to accommodate dogs ( a maximum of two at the discretion of the owners) for an additional cost of £25 per dog per week. PLEASE NOTE: THE CHALET PARK DOES NOT PERMIT DOGS IN JULY OR AUGUST. Check in/out Saturdays only

By Jem & Nicola Hollis on 11-Sep-2022We’ve just enjoyed a fantastic and sunny holiday at Bow’s Pad - a lovely timber chalet which has recently been refurbished. The chalet is bright, airy, well-equipped, stylishly furnished and comfortable with modern appliances and everything you need for a holiday. It’s in a great location, just seconds away from the spectacular Upton Towans grassy sand dunes which take you to the stunning Gwithian Beach. We have enjoyed walking in this area and also along the coastal path from Godrevy Lighthouse to Hell’s Mouth where we saw seals. The scenery here is some of the most beautiful and dramatic we have seen. We also took the train from nearby St Erth Station to St Ives, enjoying the sea views on the way. There we had a delicious lunch at The Source Kitchen (as recommended by Rick Stein) and also visited Tate St Ives, the Barbara Hepworth Museum and Bernard Leach Pottery. It’s been a fabulous holiday. The park is very well maintained and as mentioned before, close to all amenities. St Ives only a 15 minute drive and plenty of places to eat in Hayle. Thank you Paul & Heidi, I''m sure we''ll be back!
