Apple Loft covers the upper floor of a reconstructed barn and offers stylish open plan living with stunning views over the Blackdown Hills (AONB) in East Devon. It has a light and airy feel and has been furnished with an eclectic mix of carefully chosen vintage finds and contemporary fittings with a high level of attention to detail. It's a good choice for a holiday hideaway, romantic break or relaxing retreat.

Our location on the outskirts of Upottery village, and just minutes from the A303/A30, allows you to fill your days with walks from the front door in the gently rolling countryside that surrounds us, visit nearby pubs and restaurants to sample locally produced food, make a short drive to the Jurassic Coast and wander along the seashore or walk part of the South West Coast Path, explore historical buildings and beautiful gardens, and on your return sit back and relax on the balcony with a chilled drink watching the sun set.

Please note that Apple Loft is for adults only and is unsuitable for babies, children or dogs.

Plenty to do in the area -

• Country walks from the front door including circular ones to the closest villages to us - Upottery and Churchinford - with two good pubs and a shop between them.
• It's an easy drive to beaches along the Jurassic Coast including Sidmouth and Lyme Regis.
• Boot up for a hike in the Blackdown Hills, East Devon Way or the South West Coastal Path. Exmoor and Dartmoor are accessible too.
• Plenty of pubs and restaurants that feature locally produced food.
• Shopping and history combine in the cathedral city of Exeter.
• A good choice of sporting activities including golf, riding, paddle boarding, fishing, off road cycling.
• Many National Trust properties and beautiful gardens close by.
• Annual events include the Sidmouth Folk Festival, the Devon Show and the Honiton Agricultural Show.

We have a no smoking policy in the Apple Loft and on the balcony.
