Colton Loft was by far the best 3 bedroom property that we have stayed in over a period of many years. It is well equipped and maintained but with a homely feel. All rooms are very spacious, with plenty of seating for 6 adults in the lounge. Everything was as described in the advert with accurate photos. Yasmina, the owner was friendly and helpful, answering email queries promptly beforhand and was nearby for any help needed during our stay. Located in a pretty and quiet village in a convenient location for touring in the area. Kerb-side parking was not a problem. Good value for a property with 3 ensuite bedrooms.
Colton Loft is located in a quiet, pretty village and is an excellent base for exploring the many attractions of North Yorkshire. The Loft itself is tastefully furnished and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, not least the three en-suite double bedrooms and spacious living room and kitchen. All made for a relaxed stay for four adults and two dogs. The owner is on hand to respond to any queries but the Loft has plentiful supply of helpful information about the area. The immediate area is an antidote to the rush hour mentality of York but an attractive gateway to Easingwold, Ampleforth, Crayke, Helmsley, Thirsk, Ripon and Fountains Abbey - all visited and enjoyed. Recommended.
Fantastic visit, as always. Comfortable, well equipped property in a great location. Owner always very helpful. Plan to visit again when we are able.
