Description

Presenting Tryst Cottage Ingleton; a beautiful, high quality, and enhanced Visit England 4 star accredited property. Assessed independently according to the international standards for quality, guest safety, facilities and service. It has many of the attributes required to meet the standards of a formal 5 star property.

Tryst Cottage affords the discerning guest the distinctive character and facinating charm of a traditional stone cottage, furnished and equipped with your comfort as priority.

The cottage is set in the perfect location to explore the both the local area, and the wider Yorkshire Dales.

**Short break available w/c Saturday 8th July***

As owners who stay in our cottage, we provide for you all the items that we want when we are away from home, so that as soon as you arrive, you can switch off and relax. We try very hard to make sure that every detail has been thought of.

It is no wonder that Tryst Cottage was the self catering cottage in Ingleton featured in the Yorkshire Post Travel Magazine!

At the end of a tremendous day out in the vibrant Yorkshire air, imagine yourself relaxing on the comfortable leather sofa or armchair in front of the dancing log burner whilst you reflect upon your day.

In the summer months, and warmest evenings, when you are staying outside, an array of solar lights will provide gentle illumination whilst you lose the natural daylight. The movement sensor light will guide your way safely down the stairs from the mezzanine

You will enjoy the perfect harmony between period features, such as the original beams, the hand carved four poster bed, the quirky Spice Cupboard (now a cool larder cupboard), together with the log burner (a full supply of logs is included in the price), central heating, Smart TVs, surround sound, Netflix, dishwasher and more.

Outside there are two seating areas. The raised mezzanine has views to the fells over Backgate, where you can sit on the teak garden furniture and dine alfresco or enjoy the shade of the sun brolly.

Downstairs, there is a barbecue area, rocking chairs, table and benches where you can sit and enjoying relaxing in a private area. Depending upon whether you want to enjoy brilliant sunshine, or a more sheltered area, you can choose your perfect spot!

With plenty of dishes and an array of different glasses in which to enjoy your favourite tipple, you wont need to wait for the dishwasher to run.

Then, as Tryst Cottage is located in the village, great walks, pubs, shops and teashops are a few minutes from the doorstep and can all be accessed without crossing any main roads.

The Settle to Carlisle Railway, Malham, Trough of Bowland, Dent, Hawes and wider Dales are easily accessible and the Lake District is only 30 minutes away.

Ingleton boasts the award winning Waterfall Walk, the White Scar Caves, and the Three Peaks of Ingleborough, Pennyghent and Whernside. The limestone formations in the Ingleton area are of historical and geological interest to all, including students. The changing colours and light through the seasons in the Yorkshire Dales never cease to amaze.

The cottage is very well equipped (our guests say the kitchen is the best equipped that they have stayed in). Tryst Cottage was built in the early 1700's and still has original beams and an abundance of character, now together with the high end facilities needed to offer you the most comfortable stay.

Whether you are looking for a romantic break, a family holiday, or simply getting away from it all, either exploring in your car, or an active holiday, Tryst Cottage is the perfect choice for your well earned holiday or short break.

Ingleton is a walkers delight, but also cycling and caving enthusiasts will find that there is so much for them to do.

There is a secure stone shed on the mezzanine in which to store your bikes, climbing or caving equipment

Your well behaved dog is welcome at no extra charge. if you have more than two dogs, a small additional extra cleaning charge may be applied depending upon the size and breed. All of the pubs, and most of the teashops in and around Ingleton accept dogs, so you will all have a wonderful time.
