Description
Recently converted to a very high standard, this gorgeous cottage featuring exposed stone, open beams and under-floor heating is a cosy, warm and luxurious hideaway for two. Nyth y Wennol, (like Cwch Gwenyn, our other property) has been in our family for centuries. We set about renovating our farm buildings in 2017. You will enjoy Nyth y Wennol's many quirky features and you'll be able to read all about the renovation and see the 'before and after' pictures for each room.NB WITH REGRET WE ARE UNABLE TO WELCOME CHILDREN UNDER 12 YEARS OF AGE OR PETS.
Once a farm outbuilding, part of our family for several generations, Nyth y Wennol retains its character, and enjoys every modern comfort.
The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, dishwasher, fridge freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster and spacious larder. The sitting/dining room boasts a comfortable sofa, a small dining table and chairs, and an HD TV with an Amazon firestick.
The bedroom, simply oozing character, has a king size bed, wardrobe and dressing table with hair dryer.
The stunning modern bathroom enjoys a large shower, free standing bath, lavatory and wash basin.
There is ample parking on site. A fire pit/patio and BBQ is available for your comfort and enjoyment.
Nyth y Wennol is a perfect base for walkers, bird watchers, and all lovers of the countryside to explore Anglesey.
NB: A washing machine is also accessible on request
There are so many places to visit, but Nyth y Wennol. is so lovely, you may just want to snuggle up and pull the blinds!

Leave ReviewImmaculate and beautifully presented.
By Vincent Robertson on 20-Nov-202211-20-2022 Our hosts were very welcoming and couldn’t have done more to make us feel at home. They went the extra mile and then beyond. They lent us local walking guides and recommended places to visit and communication was great. The cottage is immaculate and beautifully presented. A wonderful space to return to after a long days adventure visiting wonderful beaches just on the doorstep! The roll top bath was a little taste of luxury! Everything we needed was supplied in the cottage. They really thought of everything. Just perfect, thank you so much to Steve and Sian. We hope to come back.
A delightful cottage with a mix of original features and modern fixtures.
By Phil and Jane Adams on 13-Aug-2020We really enjoyed our stay in Swallows Nest. A delightful cottage with a mix of original features and modern fixtures. The owners were friendly and helpful throughout our stay, with advice on where to visit and eat. Anglesey is stunning, full of history and easy to explore. Will come again.
We would definitely recommend it & hope to be back soon
By Allan Sidebotham on 03-Aug-2020Sian & Steve are so lovely & helpful, we spent last week in Nyth Y Wennol & whilst the pictures are stunning you don't get the amazing character of it. Everything is done with attention to detail & clearly a great deal of care. A truly amazing place to relax with great walks on your doorstep, in a relatively un-spoilt part of Anglesey. We would definitely recommend it & hope to be back soon
