Description
Nb. A cast iron spiral staircase is currently being installed (March 2026) which will replace the existing stairs in the lounge, creating a more open, spacious living area. Photos will be updated once work is completed (by the end of April). The website is offline while this work is underway but you can still find Ty Cerrig on social media. Do come and say hello!Ty Cerrig (which means stone cottage/house) is the perfect base for exploring the beautiful island of Anglesey.
Set on a quiet lane on the edge of a village, this stylish detached cottage sleeps 6 (3 bedrooms) and welcomes (not tolerates) dogs of all shapes and sizes.
On the ground floor there is a comfortable lounge and huge log burner, perfect for cosy afternoons and cooler evenings. French doors open from the lounge onto the enclosed patio and garden. There is a well equipped kitchen with seating area, plus separate dining area (which can double as a workspace if you’re ‘WFH’!). There is also a utility room with a washing machine and (heat pump) tumble dryer, plus downstairs loo.
There are three bedrooms on the first floor, all of which look out to fields at the front of the house. There is a large master bedroom (king size bed) with ensuite (walk-in shower), a second double bedroom (king size bed) and a twin room. There is a family bathroom with walk-in shower and a freestanding bath.
Large enclosed garden and patio and off-road private parking (two spaces). There is a warm water dog wash station, perfect for sandy paws and mucky boots.
Just 10 minutes drive to sandy (dog friendly) beaches at Aberffraw and Rhosneigr.
There is a fixed stairgate at the top of the stairs. There are also two portable. extendable gates that can be used as needed. There is a travel cot (please bring your own bedding for this), high chair and plenty of toddler-friendly bowls and plates.
Please note, electric vehicles are not permitted to be charged via the cottage electricity supply.

Beautiful cottage

Sarra had thought of everything both outside and inside the cottage. The garden was great for the dogs and they enjoyed their holiday as much as we did. We would definitely stay at Ty Cerrig again in the future!

A great central location, peaceful, easy to access, great garden for the dog and well equipped with lots of extras, including a lovely welcome basket of goodies and treats and toys for our dog. Sarra was great with communication and flexibility and providing lots of information to make our stay a success. We would love to return. Thank you.
Wonderful first holiday
By EG on 10-Sep-2025We had a wonderful first holiday in August! We were blown away by the attention to detail and how beautiful the house was. It was lovely to feel like the dogs were truly welcome! We have never stayed anywhere that so many things have been provided to keep the dogs occupied and happy! Clearly lots of thought and effort has gone into designing such a wonderful home. It is ideally located for all of the wonderful beaches, places to visit and cafés/restaurants. We can’t wait to come back next year! Thanks for such a wonderful holiday… It really was hard to get everybody to leave!
