Description
Set in the heart of an unspoilt area of 'Outstanding Natural Beauty' the holiday cabin is located in the tranquil area of Woodside Beach. Take a minutes stroll to the quiet and unspoilt beach for a leisurely walk, some off the beach fishing or maybe explore the rockpools. From the private garden surrounding the cabin take time to appreciate the wildbirds and red squirrels, both daily visitors to the area.The cabin has 2 separate bedrooms one with a double bed, the other with 2 single beds and a double sofa bed situated in the lounge area.
Please note we also have our smaller one bedroom cabin. This has the same facilities as the Retreat, and can sleep up to 4 people (with sofa bed). If you require any further information please do not hesitate to contact us.
For those looking to explore the island, our holiday cabin is ideally situated midway between the popular holiday town of Ryde and the islands world renowned yachting centre of Cowes and ideally placed to visit attractions such as Osborne House, Quarr Abbey and Havenstreet Steam Railway.
An ideal location for a traditional family holiday, or for those looking for a welcome break from the frantic pace of modern day life.

By Steve on 24-Sep-2025A beautiful peaceful hideaway just yards from the beach, set in a tranquil area surrounded by wildlife of many types of birds and visited by squirrels. The cabin is in an idea spot very private and quiet yet only 10 mins from Ryde. Fully furnished with all you need. Private parking.

By Roger & Debbie on 04-Sep-2025Another amazing stay in this perfect cabin. Location and facilities are perfect for couples or small families. Our dogs Bertie & Mitzy love the garden and perfect for walks in the woods and exploring the beach. Perfect for location for exploring the island. The host Debra & Steve are always welcoming and helpful, with fresh milk, coffee, tea and biscuits on your arrival, so your holiday can start with a nice relaxing drink on the decking This retreat is a hidden gem which always makes us feel sad to leave.

Lovely place to stay
By Janey on 30-Oct-2025Been staying here for 15 years lovely hosts deb and steve a great warm welcome 5 minutes walk to the quiet beach lots of birds red squirrels visiting all the time would highly recommend this chalet located between cowes and ryde easy to get to any part of the island there is also a smaller chalet which we have used many of times highly recommend great private place to stay with your own parking.
Beautiful two weeks away
By Penny on 13-Aug-2024We had a beautiful two weeks away at Woodside beach retreat and everything was lovely. This was our second time visiting for two weeks and we will be booking again. The cabin had everything we needed including towels and beds where made up on arrival. Location is fantastic, you can get everywhere on the island. We love the garden, sitting in the garden listening to all the birds and the sea is so peaceful and relaxing with your morning cuppa or evening glass of wine. There is a BBQ and the garden is dog proof too. The cabin is dog friendly and the beach which is 2 minutes walk is lovely to walk your dog too. Steve and Debbie are lovely, they are there for you of you need everything and are quick to help or answer any questions. We are looking forward to returning again soon.
