Description

Coastguards is a character 5 bed property with sea views, that comfortably sleeps 8 people.
Our bookings are from Friday to Friday but we can do shorter stays in low season.
Coastguards has 2 sitting rooms and 2 bathrooms so works well for 2 family groups. It is very well equipped and both family and dog friendly. We have a lovely enclosed garden with a patio with great sea views. There is parking outside on the street and a small playground 1 minute away. It is well located a short walk from the sea, shops and restaurants. We have been renting out Coastguards for 16 years and have lots of families who return to stay with us.
Ventnor is a great place to stay, with wonderful coastal walks, super cafes and restaurants and a lovely sandy beach. Steephill cove and Ventnor Botanical gardens are well worth a visit.

A happy interlude!

My son and I spent a very relaxing and enjoyable 10 days in your ultra-comfortable, extremely well-equipped home. The sea and coastal views from the upper 2 main bedrooms were splendid and my son remarked he enjoyed waking to the sight. The house suited us perfectly because the upper and lower floors are self-contained, sharing the middle floor with an ample kitchen, perfect for cooking and entertaining. The sitting room just off the Kitchen with an exit directly onto the garden was perfect. Given that the garden is south facing I was able to sit and read even in Mid October - our wuffer loved it as well!. It is convenient for public transport and the Town Centre shops - my son enjoyed his daily walks to the sea front and beach on a daily occurrence. All in all it was an exceptionally pleasant and relaxing break!! - Thankyou Emma

Ideal holiday home for a large group

Lovely 5 bedroom home with plenty of space to relax. Lovely garden area with sun loungers. Tea, coffee and toiletries were provided and cleaner across the road offered assistance when we struggled to unlock the door at first! Perfect location for exploring Ventnor with parking outside and very close to the bus stop for visiting other parts of the island. Will definitely stay again in future.

Fantastic Week at Coastguards

Coastguards was beautifully furnished, well equipped and perfect for our kids and dog ! The location is convenient for the shops and only a short walk to the beach or surrounding hillsides. The garden and rear terrace have great views and are a nice sun trap in the afternoon to relax and spot the local wildlife or read a book !
