Description
The Retreat is a self contained one bedroom accommodation on the South side of Hillside Farm’s courtyard. If you are after peace and quite in a countryside stay the Retreat will fit the bill with clear sky's being able to see the stars at night .And natural wild life on your countryside walk .You have the whole bungalow to yourselves and outside space for relaxing with a glass of wine or dining in the evening summer sunset. Under floor heating for those cooler months .One main bedroom with separate shower room, sink and toilet. The living area has a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, smart tv, free sat and wifi. Ideal for couples or a cot for the younger member of your family can be provided.There is a laundry room with washer and dryer available for use on site.Garden play area and washing line own parking bay available at the entrance only 20 yards from your front door with well lit outdoor lighting .Walks straight outside the door onto the downs if you like walking with or with out your dog.On sight salon available for treatments we advice booking directly with your booking as subject to availability.Local village is five minutes by car or a 15 minute walk with local pubs, cafe ,pizza pub, post office chemist, local shop for those important essentials .Ten minutes by car to local beach .We provide Complementary welcome pack with essentials for your stay,tea, coffee, sugar,hand wash , washing up liquid,small milk for that cuppa on arrival, complimentary farm eggs subject to availability,dog treat for your fur baby.

Sharon and John are pretty much always on hand for recommendations or suggestions and have a wealth of local knowledge to share with guests. The chickens, ducks and ponies are a fun addition to this stay and if you’re lucky you might get a visit from their dog!

So easy to get in and the place was ideal for us. Out of the way but local shops and pubs are a few minutes drive away. Some stunning local scenery literally outside the gate and within a short walk you have St Catherines Oratory and the Downs. Sharon And John could not have been more helpful. We will definitely be going back here when we get chance.

The farm animals were such a bonus and waking up to fresh air is so welcome. Very quiet and private, perfect for walking around the local trails. Thanks for the freshly laid duck and hen eggs! Look forward to staying again. ️
