Description
The Retreat is a self contained one bedroom accommodation on the South side of Hillside Farm’s courtyard. If you are after peace and quite in a countryside stay the Retreat will fit the bill with clear sky's being able to see the stars at night .And natural wild life on your countryside walk .You have the whole bungalow to yourselves and outside space for relaxing with a glass of wine or dining in the evening summer sunset. Under floor heating for those cooler months .One main bedroom with separate shower room, sink and toilet. The living area has a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, smart tv, free sat and wifi. Ideal for couples or family of three with a sofa bed or a cot for the younger member of your family. There is a laundry room with washer and dryer, garden play area and washing line own parking bay available at the entrance only 20 yards from your front door with well lit outdoor lighting .Walks straight outside the door onto the downs if you like walking with or with out your dog.On sight salon available for treatments we advice booking directly with your booking as subject to availability.Local village is five minutes by car or a 15 minute walk with local pubs, cafe ,pizza pub, post office chemist, local shop for those important essentials .Ten minutes by car to local beach .We provide Complementary essentials for your stay,tea, coffee, sugar,hand wash , washing up liquid,small milk for that cuppa on arrival, complimentary farm eggs available,dog treat for your fur baby.

By M .Worsley on 12-Apr-2024Fabulous Four Night Stay My wife, daughter, and I drove down from Scotland for a family get together during the week following the Easter weekend. Although the cottage was a snug fit for the three of us, and a Yorkshire Terrier, we were very comfortable. Sharon and John were excellent hosts, always helpful. The photographs are an accurate depiction of what to expect - there were no surprises. A great base from which to explore the IOW or simply to hurkle-durkle!

Easter break away 2024

Sharon and her husband are so friendly and helpful, and the welcome book they''''ve put together has so many good recommendations, we particularly loved the list of all the dog friendly places to go! Accommodation was spotless and had more than enough amenities, even ones we never expected to have! it also has a great area with ponies, chickens and a little play area for kids. Whilst in fairly secluded lane, it was a great location, you could see all the stars and it was so peaceful, and not far from the town at all, or something beautiful walks. The Easter gift bag was a lovely touch too! Thank you so much, when we next head to IOW we will be sure to look for Sharon''''s accommodation again!
Hillside Farm Retreat
By Elena on 02-Apr-2024Elena August 2021 Sharon is outstanding host and she gos out of her way to make your stay memorable. The cottage is situated in a farm, with a play area and fantastic views. Everything you need is on the doorstep. The accommodation is super clean with a wonderful shower! TV, wi fi, equipped kitchen. We have 7 yrs old son who loved to play with farm animals and our dog was so happy running around the fields just outside the gates. We would without hesitation come back to visit this lovely family. I also had a beauty treatment in Sharon’s salon which is just next to the cottage. I had a facial and body massage and pedicure done. Sharon is very professional and it well worth it to book a treatment before your arrival, you will not regret it
