Please book direct on our website. Tweed Hideaway is a luxury lodge on an organic farm with wonderful views, sun rises and sunsets and lovely river walks.

Tweed is a place to unwind, relax and enjoy the peace and quiet surrounded by nature, trees, large sky perfect for star gazing, country walks from the door. Enjoy the king fisher fishing or zooming up the River Eden or the barn owl hunting for mice. Wood fired hot tub freshly filled and hot for your arrival.

Tweed Hideaway sits at the top of the meadow and a perfect spot for bird watching, admiring roe deer and watching hares lolloping by the window.

There is a new all weather tennis court at Cliftonhill Farm, one mile away and you are welcome to park in the yard or walk along.

The River Eden meanders through the farm and you are welcome to fish but of late the long legged heron seem to be doing better than us! There are great beats on the Tweed and Teviot near by. The River Eden has lovely grassy banks perfect for picnicking, reading a book and listening in on the 'Tales of the river bank' Enjoy a sauna in Cedarhus. Book separately. This luxury sauna moves round the Borders but will be at Cliftonhill August and into September. We have a flower patch lovely to walk round and pick your own flowers. There is a walk to Stichill Linn waterfall. A good place for wild swimming.

Kelso is 4 miles, a simply lovely market town. A great place to visit with Abbeys, Floors Castle, interesting and unique shops, cafes, bars, pubs, restaurants, tapas bars, health food shop, butchers and gift shops aplenty.

Tweed is on one level with large ceiling to floor wall of glass the entire length of the lodge making it a perfect place to visit all the year round. There is a large king size bedroom, small twin bedroom and an open plan kitchen, sitting are and dining area. The reclining sofa is so comfortable, new for 2025. The shower room has a powerful shower, Italian soap and shampoo and tiled with beautiful travertine.

The Scottish Borders is an area of outstanding natural beauty. It has everything from Rivers, hills, coastline Berwickshire and Northumberland, Abbeys and Castles, lovely market towns including Kelso, Melrose and Peebles. We are a sporting destination including rugby, tennis and golf courses galore.

Arrival time is 4 p.m. or later and check is self check in so you can arrive any time. You will be met if you arrive at 4 p.m.

Tweed Hideaway is 1 1/2 hours from Newcastle, 1 1/4 hours from Edinburgh, 2 hours from Glasgow. 5 minutes by car to Kelso and one minute to Ednam.
