Leave ReviewA fantastic stay at Thornyfield
By John Slatter on 02-Feb-2020We had a fantastic stay at Thornyfield with our two dogs, the cottage was well apppointed with everything we needed. The hot tub was a great day to relax after days out. With walks from the door we would thoroughly recommend a stay here.
Lovely gem of a place nestled away from all the noise of life.
By Lesley Campbell on 01-Jan-2021We have stayed in Thornyfield Cottage twice now and would have returned had it not been for the pandemic. It’s a lovely gem of a place nestled away from all the noise of life. We took our dog too who enjoyed the walks that were on the doorstep and found the local pub who served great food. The cottage was spotless and perfect. We will return
The cottage was amazing
By J Siebert on 13-Aug-2022The cottage was amazing, finished to a high spec. Garden was beautiful we loved sitting in the hot tub listening to the peace and quiet. There were a couple of walks right on the doorstep which were perfect for our dog as she has bad joints and can’t walk far. Kitchen was fantastic the type you’d want if you won the lottery. We would love to go back
Lovely little cottage, in beautiful surroundings
By Susan Gooderham on 10-Sep-2023Lovely little cottage, in beautiful surroundings. Just hills, fields, cows and sheep as far as the eye can see, we saw hare and deer in the fields opposite the cottage. It was quite a long drive (for a scaredy cat like me) down a single track road but it meant it was secluded and quiet. The cottage was spotlessly clean and pretty comfortable, with everything you'd require, there are low beams upstairs, so a few head bumps despite warning signs. Private little courtyard with a lovely hot tub ,perfect for a soak after a day out walking, we loved it, would definitely return .
Amazing week at Thornyfield cottage.
By Robert Allen on 23-Oct-2023My partner and I spent an amazing week at Thornyfield cottage. It was such a peaceful place to stay. We were greeted by bubbly and biscuits which was a lovely touch. We spent lovely days exploring the surrounding areas coming home to a beautiful cozy cottage with the added benefit of a hot tub. It was just a wonderful place to stay and visit. We look forward to going back. Thank you for allowing us to experience this idyllic cottage.
