Description
Please contact us for last minute and low season deals.Sleeps 6 in a king and queen size bed, queen can split into 2 singles, further double, quality sofa bed in attic room. The king room is ensuite and the queen has the family bathroom adjacent to it.
In the top floor attic room, there are doors opening onto a balcony with seating where you can watch the sunset and the boats go by.
There is a laundry room on the first floor and an additional toilet on the ground floor. This has been adapted as a wet room for sandy toes and muddy paws.
The kitchen on the ground floor is fully equipped with utensils, induction hob, toaster, microwave, dishwasher, fridge and freezer. It is open plan with the dining and living room, which has a wood burner and smart TV with DVD player. Both the dining and garden table have space for up to 6.
The garden is to the side of the house along the path up some steps and has a gorgeous garden room, amazing views. NHS discount for low season stays.
Short breaks welcome outside high season. 1 small dog by arrangement, additional charge.
Parking is nearby in Dart Haven Car Park a short walk from the property and some street parking may also be available.Charges apply in the car parks at all times.

From the property, you can catch the ferry just five minutes' walk away to Dartmouth for restaurants, and both boutique and high-street shops such as Jack Wills, Fat Face and Joules. The ferry accommodates vehicles and passengers. From here you can visit Dartmouth castle, stunning Blackpool Sands and Slapton beach. A boat trip or the steam train will take you to Agatha Christie's Greenway, Totnes or Paignton. There are local shops and 2 great pubs serving food, plus a wine bar, and even fish and chips in summer months.
You can also visit the quaint National Trust house Coleton Fishacre and do multiple coastal walks. There is opportunity to hire canoes or stand-up paddle boards on the river.
We also have superfast broadband and WiFi and linen is included, towels small extra charge.

Great weekend break. Home from Home, excellent standard of finish.
By David on 13-Feb-2026Great location for the views, 2 great pubs, quick dash for the ferry's to Dartmouth. Log burner great on a winters night, views from the attic room are wonderful. The house is finished to an excellent standard, it has everything you need.

By Maciej on 28-Jul-2025Most amazing location we could wish for , overlooking the river straight from the window, everything at the door step basically, car park, ferry to Dartmouth, steam train to Paignton, dont have to even break a sweat it all there, house itself was a high quality decor , very comfortable high tier. And also there a little garden with tables for a evening glass of wine or so with the river view. Simply amazing and exceeded our expectations. 10 out of 10 for sure
