Leave ReviewWarm and Cosy
By Pat Race on 22-Nov-2024Lovely clean cosy cottage and can’t complain about anything really . A couple of things I would like to mention , no fire gloves were available for stove ? A nice touch could have been milk in fridge and perhaps tea or coffee? Also anybody infirm might struggle with stairs and back steps No shovel available to move snow off steps and ice which made it difficult with dog ☹️. However overall we made most of it and enjoyed it . Thanks
Just Perfect
By Paul Walker on 29-Dec-2023I feel like I don’t want to leave a review, as this is such a hidden gem. The location is perfect for exploring North Yorkshire on your doorstep. If you want quiet then this place is for you. With all the basic amenities available within a 5-10 minute walk. The property is extensively furnished with everything to make your stay perfect. In the evenings you can light the log burner and watch the flicker of the flames while drinking a large glass of red wine. We choose to live on going out for meals and the odd takeaway, however the kitchen has everything that you need to cook with, and fridge and freezer in place. Although the fridge was used mainly to chill the wine 😂. We took our small dog with us who just lazed if front of the fire and was very reluctant to go out for a walk. Summing up you’ll love this small wonderful located cottage, in a quiet location. Nearly forgot to say go to Blakey Ridge and try the food at the Lion Inn.
