Description
Villa Les Lucioles is the perfect property for a large family or group of friends. There are 6 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms.It is located in the lovely village of Le Bar sur Loup, where there are restaurants, cafes, shops, markets, entertainment and many outdoor activities such as hiking, biking, horseback riding, paragliding, go-karting, tennis, river walking, and also close to the coast and beaches
The property enjoys a large, flat, & completely enclosed garden with lovely views of the surrounding mountains. The large pool also has a shallow area, perfect for children to play in. Around the pool, is a wooden patio on which there are many sun lounger’s for those wishing to relax & soak up the sun & a shaded outside lounge area. There is also an outdoor children's play area, with outdoor activities, such as swings, wendy houses, table tennis...
The interior of the property is lovely and well laid out for a large group of people. Most of the living space is on the ground level which is very convenient with many accesses directly onto the garden and to the pool.
The kitchen and open plan dining room open directly onto a tiled terrace, where there is a lounge area and a shaded area for the large outdoor table which easily seats 13 people. This overlooks the garden and pool area. The living room is spacious & bright. It opens onto the smaller garden which has a nice quiet courtyard. There are 4 bedrooms on the main level, each with ensuite bathroom. The fifth bedroom is in the character tower room & the sixth bedroom is on the ground floor, both of these bedrooms also have their private bathroom. All 6 bedrooms have air conditioning. Villa Les Lucioles is walking distance into the village of Bar sur Loup (approx. 20 mins.) where there are several restaurants, shops, & outdoor markets. It is approx a 30 minute drive to Nice airport.
Several other stunning villages are close by to the villa, such as the villages of Valbonne, Mougins, St Paul de Vence ... as well as the coastal towns of Antibes, Cannes, Nice and others.

By Giannina on 27-Jun-2025Lise's villa was ideal for our family vacation (5 adults, 2 children and dog). Very clean and spacious and each room has its own bathroom. The outdoor area is beautiful, completely fenced and the pool is a dream. The kitchen is super equipped. From the location a bit off the beaten track (30 min. to the beach), which did not bother us now, since we simply wanted to have a nice time with the family in a great house with a 3-month-old baby. We would definitely come back, thank you Lise!

By James Packer on 13-Aug-2025We stayed for 8 nights and were two families of 4 adults and 4 kids - 2 teenagers and 2 toddlers. The house was a fantastic size and accommodated all of us easily. The pool area is lovely and enjoyed by all. Air conditioning in the bedrooms was very welcome.The house was very clean, and Lise and John were fantastic hosts. The communication was brilliant and although we had no issues we were in contact with Lise via WhatsApp and I have no doubt we would have got n instant response if an issue did arise.The location is beautiful, albeit up a fairly winding little road, but that became easier to drive as the week progressed. Overall whilst it's not super near anything, you have Grasse, Antibes, Nice, Valbonne etc all within a 30-40 minute drive, so it's very central to a lot of lovely places. Highly recommended.
A beautiful house and location
By Georgie on 11-Apr-2025We had a brilliant time at the house with our two children. It was very large and the garden was well maintained and a great place for the children to play. The house is very clean. It was a real luxury to have air con and heaters in every room. We were unlucky with the weather as we went in April and it was a wet week. The house felt warm despite the weather. We would definitely recommend this house!

Will definitely come back again
By Ilhan on 15-Jun-2024There were three of us and with 2 dogs for a week in the wonderful house. The house is located a little outside and therefore a car is mandatory, the advantage is therefore the tranquility. The property is completely fenced which was perfect for the dogs, they could great all around undisturbed without a leash. The pool is large and gets deeper via several steps, so that swimmers can make good use of it also. There are enough seating and lounging options available so that everyone can find a quiet corner even if necessary. The rooms have their own bathroom, except for the tower room, which is still great. We felt very comfortable and will definitely come back again.
