A lovely villa which is really well equipped with everything you could need. Sea views & just a short walk to the beach. Includes a garage to park your car - a very tight space but perfect for small or medium sized cars. Thankyou Kathryn for a lovely stay!
This is indeed a very attractive location with unobstructed views of the Mediterranean and the offshore islands. The apartment contained all the necessary equipment as described, and all in good working order as described in the detailed instructions and suggestions brochure, all contributing to another very enjoyable fortnight in the sun.
I stayed in La Fossette Villa 32 for a week around the middle of August 2022. The photos depicting fabulous views are very accurate, I spent quite a few hours relaxing on the terrace, in a sun lounger, looking out to sea and watching the boats sail by. The place is exactly as described in the listing with everything needed for a really comfortable stay. The bed is very comfy - an important thing to know! The kitchen did not have an oven but I found cooking on the hob worked out fine for me. The shower in the bathroom has good pressure (another important thing!). There is an adjoining property which also has a terrace but there is enough screening between the two that it is not a problem. The villa and surrounding area are quiet, including at night. There is a main road at the bottom of the hill but this is far enough away that it is not really an issue. I had a car which was useful, however, the couple staying next door at the time had hired some electric bikes locally and found these were a great way to get around. La Fossette beach is a short walk away and is very nice. My favourite beach was Plage du Pelligrin, a natural beach around 20 minutes drive from the villa. It has plenty of parking (but arrive in the morning to ensure a spot), toilets, and is long enough so that even at the busiest time of the year (August) there is still plenty of space. It is perfect for a lazy beach day and is suitable for children. Carrefour and a nice organic supermarket are on the same street in Le Lavandou which was great for food and essentials shopping. The owner of the property was great to communicate with and the whole process went very smoothly. I highly recommend this place.
