Description
Serre Chevalier is an open sunny valley running in an east/west direction from Briançon (1250 metres) to the Lauteret Pass (2057 metres), Monetier is the highest ski centre (1500 metres) with nearby peaks of around 4,000 metres and the front of the Le Dome glacier visible from the apartmentMountain holidays are essentially activity based and the valley offers far more than be packed into a typical weekly vacation..
Winter offers 250 kilometres of pistes on the north facing slopes and extensive off-piste opportunities for skiers, snow borders and snow-shoe trekking.
In summer there is trekking from alongside the River Guisane or on the glacier of the Barre des Ecrins; climbing on via ferrate, rock faces or mountain ascents. Cyclists can experience the mythical Tour de France climbs of the Col d'Isoard. the Col de Galibier, the Col de Grenon or the Col du Lauteret.
In addition there is rafting or kayaking on the Guisane, tennis, paragliding, canyoning, fishing, horse-riding, swimming, go-karting plus adventure parks.

Our comfortable and spacious flat is centrally located in a characteristic alpine ski resort close to bars, restaurants, thermal baths, shops and ski lifts.
Effective 2017 the apartment was classified a 3* residence by "les Offices de Tourisme de France".
The apartment is ideally located for a winter sports holiday and, in other seasons, for discovering the grandeur and challenges of the mountains.
Le Dôme is a modern three-storey block. Our second floor apartment has 3 bedrooms, a combined kitchen/living area with south-facing balcony, shower room with toilet, bathroom (with shower attachment over bath), separate toilet, garage, ski store and parking space.
We are centrally located in this unspoilt village, 150 metres from village church and shops, 50 metres from the thermal baths and 300 metres from ski-lifts, reached either by a ten minute walk for a family with young children or a two-minute walk to the stop of the courtesy bus service

Bel accueil, très bel appartement, bien équipé (vaisselle, électroménager,...), idéalement situé avec une très belle vue sur les pistes. Bonus avec un garage fermé ! L’accès aux pistes et aux commerces est facile et rapide à pied, de même que l’arrêt des navettes. Les grands bains sont à 2 mn. Une très belle expérience. A recommander.

By Jean-Marc Cockenpot on 04-Aug-2021L'appartement est bien conçu et bien placé. Rien ne manque: l'électroménager est complet et récent. Les commerces de Monétier (boulangeries, restaurants, épiceries, etc etc ) sont à 200 mètres à peine: aller chercher du pain frais le matin n'est pas un problème. Le balcon est de taille suffisante pour y poser chaises et table, et la vue sur les massifs est très belle. Quelques départs de randonnée sont accessibles à pied. En résumé, ces 3 semaines nous ont reposés et enchantés et il est plus que probable que nous retournions dans cet appartement. Ah oui, j'oubliais, pour les personnes connectées (comme nous), Internet est fonctionnel.
