Description
The Willow Tree and The Garden View Apartments are a real gem. Linked to a large main house known as The Apple Orchard, they sit in beautiful grounds with the use of the large heated swimming pool.The owners of the property, Audrey and Peter, live in a third apartment located on the first floor of the main house, but they are often away during the summer giving guests exclusivity.
The apartments can be booked separately (for 4 people) or both together (for 8 people). Please enquire to let us know what you are looking for so we can check rates and availability accordingly.
When shared between 8 people, there are 2 living areas, with their own kitchens, which is perfect for families and friends sharing. The living areas incorporate a dining area, kitchen and lounge, with doors leading to private outdoor eating terraces, one within a walled courtyard garden.
The open plan layout allows light and a sense of space to fill the rooms. The kitchens are fully equipped with all mod cons, dishwashers, washing machines and the lounges provide a flat screen TV.
There are two ground floor bedrooms (one king size bed and two single beds) both with en-suite bathrooms on one side of the house, and two bedrooms (one king and one double) with a shared bathroom on the other.
The pool is open between the months of May through to September (inclusive).
The owners have bicycles that you would be welcome to rent. These bicycles are serviced by Peter and fitted to your requirements. Please note that in order to rent bikes we need at least 24 hours notice along with your height.
The apartment provides secure parking for several vehicles and safe storage for bicycles. We also are happy for you to bring your dog, for an additional charge of 10€ per night and an understanding of all dog considerations.
The house itself is surrounded by apple orchards and fields with no direct neighbours. It lies on a quiet road and is within walking distance of the local village of Le Thor. The surrounding area is pretty flat so perfect for bike ride outs with children or cycling into Le Thor.

By Prof on 15-Jun-2023Nous avons passé deux semaines bien reposantes au „Willow Tree“. L’appartement correspondait tout à fait à la descriptiom: Il est très spacieux, bien confortable et joliment décoré: un grand lit avec un très bon matelas et une belle literie, une cuisine moderne bien équipée où rien ne manquait, un salon très confortable. Pour notre petit chien il était très agréable d’avoir un petit boût de jardin clôturé. Nous avons surtout apprécié la grande piscine que nous avions pratiquement pour nous seuls. Les propriéraires habitent en dessus. Ils sont très discrets mais plus qu’avenant en cas de besoin. L’appartement est très bien situé. Le Thor est une jolie petite ville provençale où il y a tous les commerces qu’il faut. En plus c’est un endroit idéal pour faire soit des visites culturelles en Provence ou pour des balades dans le Lubéron. Une très belle adresse!

We (family of four, two teenagers) enjoyed the stay end of March 2024 in The Willow Tree for one week very much. As mentioned our stay was in the middle of spring, so the swimming pool was still closed. However, the swimming pool area looked very tempting.
Best solution for a vacation in west Provence country area.
By Zvika on 05-May-00242 bedroom apartment in the country. Perfect location as a hub to tour western Provance (max. 1 hour drive to all directions. Excellent apartment, very well equipped, private entrance, private parking, small garden for guests use only. we did not use the pool, but it looked very nice and welcoming. A perfect place for relaxation and calmness, for a self catered vacation. A nice big supermarket, bakery and gas station 2 minutes drive from the house. Very welcoming and friendly hosts, Peter did his utmost to make our stay an unforgettable one.
Perfect family holiday with swimming pool
By Harry on 01-Aug-2024The check in was uncomplicated and unobtrusive. By mail we received all the necessary information. After arriving, the hosts came by briefly to welcome you. They are very friendly, accommodating and are always helpful contact persons on request. The apartment is well-equipped, nothing is missing and is big enough. The existing air conditioning is necessary and is essential due to the prevailing temperatures. The swimming pool is another highlight. The apartments are separated from each other and everyone has their privacy.
It was a dream vacation.
