The Chart House is a comfortable 4 bedroomed house in Lee-on-the-Solent, suitable for couples or families of up to 6 people. We have a private indoor pool which can be booked in advance of a stay.

Lee-on-the-Solent is situated on the South Coast between Portsmouth and Southampton and The Chart House is one road back from the seafront with a 5 minute walk to the beach with views to the Isle of Wight. Lee-on-the Solent is on the flat with a long promenade all along the front with cafes, shops and eateries in the village, a 10 minute walk from the Chart House.

It is a popular area for sailing and windsurfing, with an airfield where Spitfires take flight. There are plenty of green areas for walks/cycling nearby: The Alver Valley Country Park which is a 10 minute walk from the house; Browndown with sea views is open when not being used for training exercises; Hill Head to Warsash offers cliff top views to The Solent; Titchfield Haven reserve has birdwatching hides and a walk by the River Meon up to historic Titchfield. There is easy access to Portsmouth's Historic Dockyard via the Gosport Ferry.

Further afield, there are many walks and places of interest in the Hampshire countryside; The New Forest is a 40 minute drive; Chichester and the Harbour area are 35 minutes to the east. The River Itchen walk, Country Parks, Marwell Zoo, Manor Farm and Paulton's Park are accessible for days out with children from Lee-on-the-Solent. Visiting the Isle of Wight for a day out can be done from Portsmouth Harbour.

There are various activities closer to Lee-on-the-Solent that can be booked such as tennis at Lee-on-the-Solent Tennis and Squash club. There is a cinema in Fareham as well as theatre at Fareham Live! and arts and cultural events in Portsmouth, Southampton and Winchester. The Jane Austen heritage can be visited in Chawton.

The house comprises: Entrance with hanging space for coats/boots hall into downstairs living room and dining room through to fully equipped kitchen with island and utility room. Double bifold doors to patio/seating in private garden.
Downstairs single bedroom and downstairs wetroom/WC.
Upstairs to double room, twin room and small single room. Upstairs shower and WC.

The house is in a residential area with off-road parking for 2 cars. It has good accessibility for anyone with mobility problems to access the shops and cafes in the village.

We can also offer yoga/private sculpt sessions at Studio Solent, 2 doors down, also bookable in advance of a stay.
