The people that ran the place seemed very warm, friendly and helpful, and so did everyone in the entire area. Having spent holidays in Italy and Spain most recently, the contrast in hospitality from all of the people we met in the Vendee was very stark indeed. Our villa suited us perfectly, it exceeded our expectations in a lot of areas, especially the surprise boules alley at the side of the house. It was very well equipped, we did not want for anything at all, a lot of equipment had been donated by previous occupants such as wetsuits, inflatables, surf boards. The local town Sables d’Olonnes was just perfect for us to eat out, shop, or go on the beach. Honestly, I was so impressed with the whole thing. My dealings with you, Christophe, have always been friendly, there was no confusion at all, you were able to answer my questions with patience. All good. My advice to anybody looking to travel from the UK to the Vendee would be to stop at Bayeux, maybe for a day, but at least for half a day. It’s 3.5 hours from the tunnel, and 4.5 from the Vendee so it adds a little bit on to the journey but it’s a great place to stop around the half way mark. This is what we did on our return journey. You also miss out Rouen which we needed to do due to the low emissions zone.
We had a great time thanks. It was very enjoyable and the house was perfect for us. We then went to Brittany for a week and the kids were asking if we could go back to Villa Acacia instead.
We had a very nice time in France, thanks. Everything worked well. The villa was as described and met our needs very well, very relaxing environment. All the information provided was helpful and made the visit easy. Overall very good place for us to stay and an excellent break.

You have been very helpful as always and made it easy for us to book. Also helping us with the Vet meant something we did not have to worry about! Oasis Resort – The villa was had (number 28) was the best one we have had so far, a lovely big garden (which was out the back which was good for the dog) and really nice furnishings, good wifi for the kids, beds were ok – we were really pleased. Can you request a specific villa for future reference? The reception were helpful when we needed them (not often). There used be a fresh bread on site but this is now pre-order only. The shop is limited as we know from before (obviously supermarkets very close). The tennis court was ok and we had some good fun playing tennis. The kids park looked well looked after. Location – We love the area, we had some lovely walks and runs, kayaking (at Des Salines), a few meals in the town and sightseeing.
