Description

Number 6A Pitlethie Steading is a charming and comfortable luxury holiday home. The house is immaculately presented offering bright spacious living accommodation with 2 comfortable double bedrooms (one with a double bed and the other has twin beds). The house is new to the rental market.

The property offers beautiful views of open countryside and overlooks Tentsmuir Forest and nature reserve, an ideal place to enjoy walking, horse riding and cycling. The forest is bordered by many miles of white sands of Kinshaldy beach. Surrounding the steading, if you are lucky, you may see deer in the nearby field, pheasants, foxes and believe it or not, peacocks from next door Pitlethie House gardens.

St. Andrews lies a few miles away and offers many activities such as world famous golf courses, a castle, a cathedral, museums, ghost tours as well as fine dining and plentiful shopping opportunities. Further round the coast, the East Neuk of Fife is a delight to visit with charming and picturesque fishing villages such as Crail, St. Monans, Elie and Pittenweem.

A great place to stay.

We loved everything about our stay at this property. Quiet location with all amenities close by. From the welcome pack on arrival, which was a pleasant surprise, to having everything supplied within the cottages furnishings and fittings, this made for a very comfortable stay. Nothing was too much trouble for Jim and he went out of his way to ensure that everything was as it should be. Cannot recommend this property highly enough and hope to return in the near future.

Perfect Location

Great place to stay for access to St Andrews area and the East Neuk, as well as over the Tay Bridge to Angus. As golfers plenty of courses in easy reach. The property was very comfortable and a home from home. Would definitely visit again.

Stayed at 6A Pitlethie Steading for a long week-end. The property is very comfortable and spotlessly clean and the extra touches that the owner Jim includes in his welcome pack all add up to a very warm welcome and a lovely place to stay. Very convenient for St Andrews and the local beaches and forests.”
