Leave ReviewA Comfortable, Welcoming Stay at The Saddlery
By Carl on 23-Oct-2025The Saddlery is a great little cottage with a comfortable bed for a good night's sleep. The kitchen and lounge are a reasonable size, with everything I would have expected to be there. I felt the porch area was a bonus, as I could leave my outside shoes in the porch and not trail dirt into the cottage John was friendly and informative at all times, and in all communications All in all it was a pleasure to stay here.
Stylish, Homely and Perfectly Equipped
By David on 19-Aug-2025A beautiful cottage which is furnished with style and extremely homely. We enjoyed our stay from the moment we stepped inside to the moment we left. The bedding was soft along with the towels and we didn't find there was anything we wished we needed in the kitchen or bathroom. We would return without hesitation, John you have a little gem here, so happy we found it x
Exceptional Stay in a Wonderful Location

A Perfect Stay with Exceptional Hosting
By Beverly on 26-Jun-2025This charming cottage is set in a beautiful village, just a 5-minute walk from a lovely restaurant and around 15 minutes from a fabulous pub serving excellent food. The cottage itself is immaculately kept and had everything we could possibly need for a few nights away. The host, John, had thoughtfully provided essentials like milk, butter, bread, juice, and preserves — such a lovely touch. When we contacted him with our estimated arrival time, he let us know the cottage was ready early and that we were welcome to arrive whenever suited us, which was incredibly helpful after a long journey. There’s also a well-put-together information booklet full of local recommendations and things to do — very informative. John really seems to have thought of everything in this peaceful, beautiful retreat. I’d definitely recommend it and hope to return one day.

Lovely stay
By D J Sims on 27-Sep-2025We had a lovely stay at The Saddlery. They had everything you need, it was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. A great welcome pack was more than expected and the hosts were available if there was anything needed. If we are in the area again we will definitely book here again.
