This stylish 3,000 sq ft Farmhouse boasts panoramic views over stunning countryside yet is within easy reach of 3 fabulous pubs.
The Farmhouse is situated just 6 miles north of the stunning, affluent Georgian town of Stamford noted for its fine restaurants, ancient inns, boutique shops and fine architecture often used as a backdrop for filming many period dramas including Pride and Prejudice and Middlemarch.
The property is in a private location and with no immediate neighbours lends itself to live band music, karaoke and with no curfew in place the party ends when you want it to, making it the perfect place to celebrate. Its fabulous 40ft open plan kitchen diner with seating for 20/22 means its the ideal place for all guests to socialise together in one very large space. The log burner situated in the kitchen/lounge making it the perfect place to relax and unwind.
The open plan feel and French doors opening out onto the large patio with night lighting and quality seating for all guests brings the outdoors in, allowing everyone to enjoy the stunning views the BBQ area, Huge Hot tub [which is freshly set up and ready to use straightaway ] and quality outdoor table tennis.
The paddock /meadow directly in front of the house is another great space for other activities /games
The property has parking for all the guests and internet access.
A 10 minute drive from the Farmhouse is Rutland water offering a range of leisure activities such as sailing, climbing, raft building and cycling. There is also a small beach. Rutland water also has an award winning aqua park.
The Farmhouse is situated in the middle of the country just of the A1, it is approximately 1 hr drive from North London making it easily accessible for all guests coming from all directions.

By Brenda Kossoff on 16-Dec-2025We recently stayed at Hill View and had the most wonderful and memorable break away with friends. What a picture perfect place in a lovely location! The house is tastefully decorated, spotless and cosy so that you feel at home almost at once. The hosts were also so welcoming and at hand if we needed anything. Although we did spend most of the time in relaxing, eating and enjoying the views, we did venture out to enjoy nearby Rutland and the beautiful Stamford with its great shops, restaurants and pubs. We willl definitely return. Thanks for everything!
FANTASTIC STAY
By Lissa Mccann on 31-Dec-2025Our family had a fantastic stay at your accommodation. It felt so homely, safe and had everything we needed. We all had an amazing new year spent together as a family, which is something we struggle to do as there are so many of us now! There was plenty of room for us to cook, eat, sit, chat, play games, the children (and dogs) enjoyed the outside areas and we were all able to enjoy our time together. The house was lovely and clean and tidy with as much equipment as you could wish for; really a home from home! It really was a wonderful few days, we will definitely be using again and would recommend to anyone :).
DO NOT BOOK. MOULD ON BEDS

The BEDS HAS MOULD, DIRTY RAZORS LEFT IN BATHROOM, OLD FOOD LEFT IN CUPBOARDS, we had to leave a day earlier as all of us was COUGHING DUE TO THE DUST, this is NOT WORTH THE MONEY. We rang the owners to discuss and they called us liars and said the house was left clean but it wasn’t ! They won’t resolve any issues we had. Very rude owners. Ruined our Boxing Day. Our niece burned her hand on the taps as the hot and cold was around the wrong way. Any markings completely came off. DO NOT BOOK! We spend all year working hard to then enjoy Christmas but we couldn’t.
wonderful stay
By Caroline van't Hoff on 29-Dec-2025Fantastic house and host. Suited our family of 19 perfectly. Used the hot tub, the table tennis and the board games that were provided. Kitchen/living area is really spacious and super nice when you’re all cooking together. One min point was the beds. They are small and not very comfortable. That could just a preference thing but all adults mentioned this. Maybe time to think about getting new mattresses but apart from that it was wonderful.

Family celebration
By Dianne Reynolds on 28-Feb-2025Oh I wanted to find a place to take all the family and this beautiful home was perfect, so much space and wonderful layout, super games of table tennis, football, and relaxing in the hot tub , and everyone round the table for meals, and board games, I cannot find one fault, oh yes I can ! The time went too quickly and we had to leave !! Diana x
