Brynglas cottage is the perfect home-from-home

By Tim on 15-Aug-2024

Brynglas cottage is the perfect home-from-home, for a relaxing stay with all the comforts taken care of. Frederieke's and Eilir's attention to detail is extraordinary, from the beautiful decor and luxury bed linen to the relaxing scents and well-organised kitchen amenities. The situation is ideal, tucked away, private and quiet with lovely views from the garden and within easy reach of so many iconic Welsh locations. I couldn't recommend this cottage highly enough, and we hope to return before long. Tim

An incredibly beautiful, well-equipped Airbnb in a wonderfully quiet valley.

We had a very nice stay at Brynglas Cottage. An incredibly beautiful, well-equipped Airbnb in a wonderfully quiet valley. There are some nice walks nearby. Please be aware that for some more famous tourist places you will soon be 2h+ in the car. No problem for us, because also from the car you can admire the beautiful scenery of Wales. We were very lucky with the weather and enjoyed the garden and the panoramic views. This listing is definitely one that I would recommend to anyone to relax and unwind. Communication with Frederieke was great. I would definitely come back here!

Great cottage - had everything we needed, very clean and high quality. We ended up making good use of the board games and binoculars. Pub is only 10 minutes walk away.

Very clean, well-equipped cottage with beautiful views

By Lakhbir on 14-Jul-2023

Cottage was easy to locate and is set in a very beautiful location . The views are paramount. The cottage was very clean and well equipped with everything you would need for your stay. The clear instructions from the host added to the overall enjoyment. There are various nature and wooded area walks. There was a 10 minute walk to the nearest pub with a picnic area overlooking the river. The new gin terrace was amazing giving you a wider viewpoint of the mountains and of the fields of sheep. We had a wonderful time, and I would definitely recommend this place to others. Thank you to my lovely hosts!

What an amazing cottage and an amazing host.

What an amazing cottage and an amazing host. The cottage was even better than I’d expected, the communication was spot on and I loved that the owner left a few goodies for my arrival. I loved being able to sit outside and look across the valley with my coffee in the morning. The sound of the sheep and birds was so soothing. I’d actually come to take part in Gritfest, and I would love to come back here simply to unwind. It really is a home from home!

Beautiful cottage. Easy to find. Stunning location. Loved all the family games. The pub at the bottom of the road was great.
