Description
Jasmine Cottage is a detached, privately owned, purpose built holiday cottage catering for five people in three ensuite bedrooms, with a further two people in a queen size sofa bed in the upstairs lounge. Newly built in 2014, the accommodation is perfect for a relaxing break or a longer holiday in glorious scenery and some of the best walking country in the United Kingdom. Jasmine Cottage is one and a half miles from Llangollen, North Wales and is suitable for couples, families and groups of friends.A downstairs bedroom sleeps two and can be set up as a superking double or as separate twin beds. The upstairs master bedroom sleeps two in a king size double bed, and a small single bedroom sleeps one. The queen sized double sofa bed completes the sleeping arrangments.
Guests can choose to eat at one of the local restaurants, in Llangollen or further afield, or cook their own meals in the well equipped downstairs kitchen. A connected dining area features an eight seater farmhouse style dining table, perfect for socialising after a lovely dinner!
An upstairs lounge features high speed WiFi plus booster, a smart TV, leather furniture and a balcony overlooking the large garden and Velvet Hill beyond.
The stunning views and private gardens give our cottage that “away from it all” feel, yet it is in easy walking distance of a farm shop, a bistro and a hotel restaurant set above the River Dee. Llangollen was voted the number one inland tourist destination in Wales, with good reason! The town is unspoilt with lots of independent shops and restaurants to explore. Dinas Bran castle towers over the town and Plas Newydd, the home of the Ladies of Llangollen, beckons. Llangollen steam railway runs all the way to Corwen along the stunning Dee Valley, and the Llangollen canal runs from the Horseshoe Falls in the opposite direction, down to the amazing Froncysyllte Aqueduct. Jasmine Cottage is within the Clwydian Range and Dee Valley National Landscape (shortly to become a National Park) with it's wealth of activities and walking opportunities.
Jasmine Cottage and it’s neighbour Velvet Cottage (P214040) are owned by the same family and together they are capable of accommodating parties of up to twelve people.
All Jasmine Cottage bookings are inclusive of electricity, heating, bed linen, towels and free WiFi. Please note that dogs are not allowed in Jasmine Cottage under any circumstances. The cottage may not be suitable for young children due to regulatory fire escape windows in the upstairs bedrooms.
The toilet waste at Jasmine Cottage is fed into an environmentally friendly biodigester. It relies on friendly bacteria to break the waste down so we ask you to be careful not to pour anything down the drains which may harm them.
