Description
Set back above a quiet single track lane, Velvet Cottage is the perfect place to unwind from the stresses of everyday life. With three bedrooms, one bathroom and a private offroad parking bay for one vehicle (plus parking for a second), our self catering holiday let can accommodate up to five guests.The front door opens into a lounge with leather sofas, smart TV, DVD player, unlimited fast WiFi and an electric fire. The lounge leads into a well-equipped kitchen diner with magnificent views across the valley. At the bottom of the stairs, a small work area with ethernet broadband is available for jobs that won't wait!
Up some fairly steep stairs can be found three bedrooms and a shared bathroom complete with shower, bath, WC and sink. The first bedroom features a superking double bed, period chest of drawers and coat hanger storage. Two twin beds can be found in the second bedroom, along with clothes storage units. A small single bedroom completes the sleeping facilities.
You can eat locally, drive into Llangollen or cater for yourselves in our well equipped kitchen, the choice is yours! The large enclosed garden is suitable for dogs to explore freely. There are a wealth of outdoor activities available to you in the local area, including some of the best walking in the UK, right from the doorstep. For indoor entertainment, a smart TV, a DVD player and lots of traditional games will keep the kids young and old happy.

By Martyn Drewitt on 11-Nov-2024I have to say it was a lovely little cottage, just what me and the pugs needed. Ian was great with all communications, even listing places for food and a few walks. I would highly recommend going there and some lovely walks.
Sweet cottage, lovely views
By Lisa Fawson on 03-Nov-2024The house was very sweet with lots of nice features and the view was amazing. We loved the walks right from the door step and Wales was beautiful in Autumn. We especially liked the Abbey and pond and the people were very friendly.
Stay at Velvet Cottage
