Description
Farthing Green House is a large listed building in Loddon, a Norfolk village with easy access to the Norfolk Broads, the coast and the historic city of Norwich. The building contains three newly created self-contained holiday apartments from which to choose - the Skylight Apartment (sleeps 5), the Directors Suite (sleeps 8) and The Old Bank (sleeps 2) each with their own entrance. The apartments can be interlinked for larger groups. There is ample private parking.The owners live in the West Wing and are on site to ensure that you have everything you need for a relaxing time. The spacious holiday apartments provide a great self-catering base from which to explore the surrounds by foot, bicycle, motorcycle, car, public transport and river craft.
There are shops, pubs (most with food), Indian restaurant, cafes and takeaways within easy walking distance.
If you just want to have a relaxing time, there is large garden in which to enjoy the sunshine and, if you wish, a BBQ. There is also an on-site gym (with a personal trainer by prior arrangement) and a common room (complete with classic computer games).
The Directors Suite occupies the whole first floor of the main Georgian part of the building. There are four spacious double bedrooms including the stand-out Gold Room and three bathrooms. There is also a fully equipped kitchen with a breakfast bar for the early risers. The large living room has a dining table for eight as well as sofas and armchairs from which to enjoy a chat or catch up on some TV.
The Directors Suite is particularly suited for friends and extended families enjoying time together.

Kitchens were stocked with complimentary croissants, tea coffee sugar milk and some fresh fruit, plus all the cooking facilities you could wish for. We would highly recommend this venue for visits around Norfolk and Suffolk. The website doesn't give it as much justice as it ought.
