Leave ReviewLovely quiet retreat
By Martin on 30-Aug-2025Private property tucked away in the countryside yet easily accessible to the Loire. Very quiet and peaceful. Lynne was most responsive to any questions we had.
A relaxing week in the Loire Hideaway
By Robert Mitchell on 16-Aug-2025We had a fantastic week at the Loire Hideaway. A lovely countryside retreat with the added bonus of an amazing outdoor pool set within gorgeous grounds. The property is situated in a small hamlet overlooking open countryside and is very private. Local amenities are a short distance away. We enjoyed relaxing around the pool and evening meals sat around the outdoor table. There are many places to explore in the area and we enjoyed visiting Langeaise (fantastic Sunday market), Angers (take the scenic route that follows the Loire), Chinon (rotisserie chicken at the Thursday market!) and Saumur (an incredible meal at restaurant Gargamelle). 4G WiFi was absolutely fine for internet browsing. A very relaxing week.
Amazing
By Christy Blanch on 09-Aug-2025We had the best stay. It’s such a lovely house, in a quiet location with the most excellent pool.
Lovely, quiet, relaxing place to be.
By Ann Donnelly and Lisa Robbins on 02-Aug-2025We enjoyed the privacy, the lovely weather and the pool to cool off ! Great spot and tranquil countryside. We hired a car to enable us to get around and visit Samur, Chinon and Tour etc. We visited the wonderful gardens near the Troglodyte caves. Worth a visit for anyone who’s interested in the history of gardening through the ages. They had an open air jazz evening that evening. We brought a picnic and of course some local wine ! Strongly recommend the property.
Peaceful, Relaxing and Tranquil
By Nick & Katherine on 12-Jul-2025We had a wonderful stay at Loire Hideaway, just what we needed to recharge us. We can't say enough how quiet and peaceful it is with just birdsong to listen to. We loved the area with so many chateau's to visit and great markets to pick up some regional bargains. We have been holidaying in France for many years and this truly is a little gem. We are already looking to rebook again for next year.
A wonderful peaceful stay
By Tracey Grigg on 31-May-2025We booked our stay last minute but we had an amazing week in the house. It has everything you need situated in a peaceful hamlet which is easy to find. We went out every day but particularly liked to sit on the terrace next to the pool from 4 onwards when in full sun. This was perfect for what we needed and hope to go again.
