Our stay, which is in an area where have stayed before, was very relaxing and enjoyable. In particular the style of the Gite was a pleasing blend of new build within a traditional historic stone farm building. This pleasure extended to the layout of the rooms and the excellent quality of the fixtures and fittings. As well as the Gite being in a lovely setting with views and acres of gardens to stroll, the sunsets were spectacular and just had to be toasted every night from the garden. The facilities were also excellent with everything from UK freeview, DVDs, books, family games (including table tennis), play barn, bikes, barbecue etc. Special mention though for the heated pool. This was fabulous, no chemicals just lovely soft clear spring water heated to a nice temperature every day. This Gite exceeded our expectations on many levels and we will return to enjoy the Gite again plus the engaging company of the owners - Bev and Rachel. 9/26/2018 at 11:15 PM
The property was great, good location to enjoy the countryside and a magnificent swimming pool. Outside eating under the veranda was ideal for our family. Plenty of restaurants in the area but we felt no real need to eat out as the surrounding for eating in the garden could not be exceeded. We, my wife and I and our two mid twenties children and their friends had a wonderfull time.
Nous avons passé des vacances très agréables. La Villa est très spacieuse et permet d''avoir un espace famille à l''étage avec ses 2 chambres et sa salle de bain. Au rez de chaussé, une autre chambre et sa salle de bain privative permettent à un couple supplémentaire de séjourner et d''avoir son intimité. La maison est propre et très bien entretenue. Elle est également très bien équipée. La piscine est très agréable et les extérieurs permettent de se ressourcer au calme de la nature verdoyante et fleurie. Les propriétaires sont à côté mais très discrets et très attentionnés avec des petits cadeaux de bienvenus. Beaucoup d''animations à 5 min en voiture (le château de Duras et les marchés matinaux ou nocturnes). Nous avons passé des vacances très apaisantes et reposantes.
