A very nice place to stau

By Janet Edwards on 24-Jul-2025

This bungalow is very centrally situated in Lymington and conveniently located for the shops. We had a quiet and peaceful stay and enjoyed the comfort of the property. The kitchen was well equipped by and we enjoyed eating in there. The lounge was also very pleasant to use. This property deserves a 5* rating despite perhaps needing an upgrade to the TV and the garden needing a little maintenance.

Stay at Lendor Lymington

Lovely detached bungalow in a quiet area but very central location to shops pubs cafes etc. Bungalow is very spacious clean and well equipped with everything you need and Stephanie is the perfect Host! Thanks for a lovely time spent in Lymington.

Lovely bungalow

By Linda Bratton on 30-Jun-2023

Great place to stay just a few minutes walk to the town and Quay. We had a lovely week in this very charming bungalow. It had everything we needed and the owner left milk, sugar, tea and coffee to get us started and a nice bottle of Prosecco which was very thoughtful. Bungalow was in a nice quiet position too. If you wanted to go to the Isle of Wight you can either get a small boat from the quay or a 20 minute walk to the Ferry. There are also buses from the bottom of the road and the railway station is just of the main road into Lymington Definitely come here again.

A fantastic cozy home from home

By Sara H on 29-Mar-2023

This small bungalow was a perfect spot to spend a week in Lymington for our party of two couples. The kitchen was well stocked for all self catering needs and had a good washing machine. The lounge was very comfortable with two sofas and TV. It was not a smart tv but there was a varied DVD collection. The small open fire made the cool evenings very cozy and our host had left us enough wood for a couple of fires. (We bought more supplies at the country store on the North side of town.) The beds were comfy with good linen and the bathrooms were clean and modern. The family bathroom only had a bath, with the shower being in the ensuite but we were happy to share. It had good, stable wifi and the central heating was easy to control. There was ample parking for one large car on the driveway and the front garden planting gave the property a sense of seclusion from the street which was not busy. It was very well located for easy walking access to the high street and the marina and riverfront. The small Tesco Extra was only 2 minutes walk away. Our host was very accommodating and communicated well during the booking and stay phases of the process. We had a great stay at Lendor and would not hesitate to recommend it for a stay in Lymington. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Great Family Break

We loved staying at this beautiful home from home style bungalow. The central location was ideal for us to walk into shops, docks, sea pool, IOW ferry etc

Definitely holiday accommodation to return to!

By Danielle on 21-Oct-2022

We have repeatedly returned to Lendor to stay as we have enjoyed it so much. Initially we chose it as we had a toddler and the lack of stairs meant one less thing to worry about but we have returned as it is always super clean and has everything you might need as a ‘home from home’. The location is great for days out in the New Forest and we always enjoy the Saturday market in Lymington which, being so close, means you can walk from the door without struggling to park. The bungalow is also literally a few minutes drive from the ferry to the Isle of Wight, which is very useful, and a great day trip. We would also recommend the Sunday carvery at the Walhampton Arms, a 5 minute drive away. The kitchen is equipped with every item you might need to self cater or there are nice places to eat nearby both to walk or drive to. Having stayed at a lot of unsatisfactory places with uncomfortable beds and low pressure showers I can confirm that the beds are definitely comfortable and the shower is much better than I have at home! There is also an extensive duplo train and animal set that my son appreciates and the garden is a good size for him to explore and look for creepy crawlies or for people to relax in depending on your preference! We have enjoyed another excellent stay at Lendor and definitely hope to return again in the future.
