Description
A newly renovated luxury property combining character features with contemporary furnishings ideal for 2 persons.The covered terrace entrance offers shade throughout the day and is ideal for all meals. The kitchen, with granite work tops, has an induction hob, an electric fan oven, microwave and a Liebherr fridge. A Zwilling toaster and kettle together with a Malongo coffee machine, provide the finishing touches.
The lounge offers uninterrupted views over open countryside towards the chateau of Magrin and the Black Mountains beyond. There is air conditioning and a ceiling fan for our hot summer days. The white leather settee provides comfort while watching TV with a Bose sound system, DVD player and UK satellite.
The bedroom with a high-timbered ceiling has a light, airy feel. There is a 5ft double bed with fully sprung mattress and cool cotton linen. A walk-in wardrobe together with a small laundry area adds to your comfort. The shower room has a glass corner shower, single sink with Corian top, overhead lighting, toilet and towel rail.
Shower and pool towels, cotton robes and a professional style hairdryer are all provided.
For safety a smoke detector and fire extinguisher are fitted.
The outside terrace has a wooden teak table and 6 chairs, 2 sunbeds and a BBQ area.
Free Fiber internet/WiFi is offered throughout the accommodation and swimming pool area.
At the pool bar you will find tables, chairs and stools together with a fridge, microwave and ice machine.
A Japanese style garden is available for shaded relaxation.
The accommodation of 70 square meters complies with the Tourist Board Covid requirements and includes all taxes in the weekly price.
La Fleureau offers you a totally non smoking environment.
Your hosts, Ian and Carol, live in the main house with Pacha their laid-back Cavalier King Charles Spaniel.

Leave ReviewA little slice of paradise
By Julie Wallis on 08-Sep-2025Ian and Carol gave us such a warm welcome to La Fleureau which is in a wonderful setting surrounded by stunning countryside. The one bedroom Gite we stayed in was delightful, very spacious and extremely well equipped. The grounds were immaculate and the Japanese style garden was a dream to walk around and sit in quite contemplation. The swimming pool, outside dining and bar/coffee areas were very relaxing. Ian and Carol were always on hand happy to assist in any way with extensive knowledge and tips of what to do in the area. We are looking forward to our next visit. A big thank you to Ian and Carol for making us feel so welcome.

It is exceptionally well appointed and comfortable. The chambre d'hote is delightful and very spacious. The breakfasts provided by Caro; and Ian are outstanding and vary from day to day. This year we stayed in the new small gite. It has been beautifully decorated and furnished, has everything you would need to hand, and is very luxurious. Carol and Ian always provide a very friendly welcome and are happy to advise and help their guests. The surrounding gardens are beautiful and the new Japanese garden is very peaceful and a lovely place to relax. The pool area is great with amazing views across the countryside towards the Pyrenees. We would recommend a stay at La Fleureau for its relaxing and tranquil atmosphere and cannot wait to return.
