Sleeps up to 4 plus 1 cot - note 2 adults only as the second bedroom is only suitable for children.Part of a barn conversion, Swallow’s Nest has a beamed open plan living area upstairs with views over the countryside down to the sea.
FIRST FLOOR
Entrance from balcony into kitchen / living area.
The well-equipped kitchen has an electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher and fridge (with ice box). There is a dining table and chairs with space for 4. Sofa and armchairs for 4, TV and DVD.
Stairs with gate down to ground floor.
GROUND FLOOR
Hallway leading to bedrooms and shower room. Bedroom with bunk bed - note the beds are smaller than standard size so this is not suitable for adults. Double bedroom at the back of the cottage looking onto the quiet courtyard and over the fields. Shower room.
Swallow’s Nest has a balcony overlooking the pool, with table and chairs.
Swallow's Nest is part of a small holiday complex with 10 cottages sleeping between 2 and 11. On site we have shared facilities including an outdoor pool (open Easter-end September), hot tub, tennis court, play area and games room.
Hilton Farm Holidays is a 10 minute drive from Bude and Widemouth Bay. There is a great choice of beaches ranging from family beaches with good facilities to more remote spots. Watersports, golf available locally. The South West coastal path runs through Bude so we are well placed for walkers. Tintagel, Crackington Haven, Clovelly, Hartland Abbey, Boscastle are all a short drive away. Padstow, the Eden Project, Lanhydrock are around an hour's drive.

By Emily on 26-Jul-2024As a family we had an amazing time. We stayed in Swallows Nest. Kids loved the pool, tennis court, pool table and football pitch. Beautiful views and peaceful place. Hosts very welcoming and responsive to messages. We will definitely be booking again.

By Ryan on 13-May-2024A great open space to spend a good break away from reality! Beautiful views from right outside the doorstep! Faye and Bernardo's cottage was an excellent stay and with all self-catering needs if you want to have meals in and walkable to local restaurants in the area. Great value for what is on offer as well. Faye's communication is great from start to finish. Always able to help and be as accommodating as possible and extremely flexible with check in. Highly recommend for a rural trip away.
