Visit Noilly Prat for Cocktails, the International Marinas and golf course of nearby Cap d'Agde and discover the many local picturesque French villages and towns including Sete and Pezenas. Marseillan specialises in oysters and sea food and has excellent sports facilities for Sailing, Fishing, Wind /Kitesurfing, Boating, Swimming, Cycling, Riding, Tennis etc.

Derek and Lise have high standards of cleanliness- the villa was very clean and tidy and well-equipped. The pool is a great addition. We enjoyed using it every day. The furniture around the pool is comfortable. Derek and Lise are excellent hosts and we would not hesitate to recommend them and their property.
Quiet well equipped pretty villa
By Nova on 16-Aug-2025Pretty villa in a quiet location with plenty of space for family of four and a dog. We enjoyed two weeks here. The hosts Derek and Lise were accommodating and friendly. Plenty to do in the area and beyond if you have a car. Food / wine choices in local restaurants were exceptional with a vast choice of fish dishes for all budgets.
2 week stay at Villa Belles de Mai
By Will & Nikki on 12-Jul-2025We had a lovely 2 week stay at the villa in Marseillan, it’s nice house which unlike many we have stayed in over the years has the touch and style of the owners. Very well equipped and laid out thoughtfully decorated. The pool and terrace area’s to the rear and front of the property are perfect for following the sun through the day. It’s a 20 minute level walk alongside the Etang du Thau into the centre of Marseillan with stunning views across to Sete. There are loads of bars and restaurants too choose from, or if you prefer self catering a well stocked Carrefour Market is a 5 minute ride in the car. Derek and Lise are perfect hosts, there when you need them.
Attractive villa in a great location
By Michael Betts on 14-Jun-2025We very much enjoyed our stay in Derek and Lisa's villa, which is spacious, well-equipped and with outdoor spaces to relax at both the front and rear of the property. The location is also great for walking, cycling and visiting the numerous beaches and other attractions in the area. Happy to recommend.
Really good week
By Dave Eveson on 07-Jun-2025The villa was clean and well equipped. The owners were nearby and available if needed, but they did not intrude on our privacy. As it happened a replacement fridge was delivered in the middle of our week at the villa, but Derek and Lisa managed things perfectly with no disruption to our holiday at all, storing our food in their own freezer while the new one settled in, and we returned from a day on the golf course to find it all done. We liked it so much we were planning to return later in the year, but circumstances got in the way and we had to change plans, but it is high on our list for next year. Can’t think of anything on the down side, it was perfect for what we wanted - good relaxing week. We will be back
Lovely family holiday, beautiful spot
By Imogen on 31-May-2025We stayed for a week in early June with our 2 children aged 4 and 10 months. As any parent can attest this is not always a recipe for a relaxing holiday (!) but this villa was just perfect for us. The older child loved playing in the pool (note it is 5ft at deepest point and not fenced so best suited to children who are decent swimmers) and visiting the nearby beaches, and it is an easy stroll into town for some excellent restaurants/ice cream/ a wonderful boulangerie. Derek and Lise were brilliant hosts and went out of their way to set the villa up for us with travel cots, high chairs etc. The kitchen is brilliantly equipped (maybe better than our kitchen at home!) and there is aircon should you need it (we didn't: even in high 20s weather the villa is quite cool). Altogether a lovely visit: I hope we will be back one day!
