Both properties are alongside the vineyards and 3kms from long sandy Mediterranean beaches !

By Juliet and Graham on 30-Aug-2025We had a most lovely time in Lisa and Derek’s garden apartment in Marseillan. Well equipped, all mod cons, and a wonderful garden and outdoor dining space. Our days often began with a mi-morning swim in the charming pool then a 15 minute walk into town by the edge of the lagoon for some shopping, coffee in the bustling centre and a wander around the lovely port area with its varied restaurants. Highly recommend the Noilly Prat tour by the way. And do try try the mussel brusacade at Chez Titin. There is a seemingly endless beach from Marseillan Plage to Sete in one direction, then on to Agde in the other. Lisa and Derek are the best of hosts. Very kind, generous and helpful and always discerning in their recommendations for restaurants, best beaches, museums and chateau visits.
GARDEN APARTMENT IN MARSEILLAN
By SEAN AND LISA FINNEGAN on 23-Aug-2025Derek and Lisa were very good hosts. The appartment was in a lovely quiet garden setting with a clean pool. The accommodation was spotless and well equipped. Derek was knowledgeable about the area, and recommended two very authentic eating places in a rustic setting by the lagoon where we had a great time eating delicious barbecued sardines and mussels.
V enjoyable week
By Valerie Wise on 07-Sep-2024Lovely week’s stay in a charming seaside town. The apartment was very comfortable, but we would have liked an oven for cooking as it was too windy to use a BBQ. (Oven was inaccurately indicated on website) Delightful, helpful owners.

Many thanks for your brief review somewhat marred with over emphasis on cooking roasts, rather than the benefits of the very comfortable air-conditioned accommodation, large exclusive pool and beautiful surroundings etc ! Cooking inside when the weather is around 28C + is not normally high priority for most of our guests ! However we do aim to please our guests so we will investigate installing a combination microwave/oven !
Lovely 2 Week Holiday
By Lorna Price on 13-Jul-2024We have just returned from a two week stay in Marseillan at Derek and Lisa’s lovely apartment and can only agree with all the other superb reviews. It is charming and perfect for two. The garden is beautiful with plenty of space and a good mix of sunny areas and shade. The pool is a good size and very welcoming on a hot afternoon. Derek and Lisa are very friendly and helpful without being in the least intrusive. The walk along the étang to the harbour side in Marseillan was a leisurely twenty minute stroll for us. There is a good selection of restaurants around the harbour - our favourite was Le Chateau du Port. The Tuesday morning market in Marseillan is worth a visit but there are plenty of other interesting places to visit in the area without having to drive far. The tour of Noilly Pratt with Lisa as guide was a particular highlight. We can thoroughly recommend a holiday here and hope to visit again ourselves before too long. Guest rating:
Relaxing Week !
By Liz Wessier on 08-Jun-2024We have not long returned from a really lovely relaxing week in Derek and Lisa's apartment and would wholeheartedly agree with all the previous comments that have been made. The surrounding roads can be a bit of a rabbit warren to begin with but we did manage to get to the local boulangerie which is only a short distance away and worth the walk. We also took advantage of one of Lisa's tours of Noilly Prat which was really interesting and included lovely cocktails, and enjoyed a boat trip round the lagoon to see the oyster and mussel beds. We would highly recommend 'La Pacheline' restaurant in the port. Derek and Lisa were charming and congenial hosts and their knowledge of the area, readily shared, ensured we could get the best out of our holiday, including buying some excellent Picpoul wine from the producer. We would highly recommend a stay here. Guest rating:
Great Holiday and Medical Help

All the conveniences and equipment you would want and of such high quality. The private pool was a particular delight for a relaxing afternoon and swim following morning excursions and preparing for dinner at one of the excellent restaurants around the picturesque port of Marseillan. Derek and Lise were charming and helpful hosts, particularly with a medical issue that unfortunately arose during our stay. Guest rating: 5 Stars
