The Old Mill and Cottage has 5 bedrooms, sleeps up to 14 people and the price tariff is for both properties. The Old Mill has 4 bedrooms can sleep up to 11 persos and Cottage can sleeps up to 4 persons. The Old Mill and Cottage have separate entrance gates.
The Old Mill dates from around 1750 has full of character and charm, with old beamed ceilings, an old spiral staircase and a unique tower with a magnificent views. The properties have been sympathetically restored to a high standard and is very well equipped. It is ideal venue for a family holiday get together, meeting a friends and occasional quiet stag/hen parties. It is based in Holloway, Derbyshire near Matlock. It is in a quiet rural village with general store, pubs and restaurants close by. Derbyshire is a Tourist area and there are numerous other venues to visit including the Peak National Park. Close by; The Heights of Abraham cable car ride, Gullivers Kingdom, Arkwright Mills and Crich National Tramway Museum are all minutes away, whilst Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall, Carsington Water and Alton Towers are all within easy travelling distance.
The Old Mill has four bedrooms; a double bedroom in the tower, a twin bedroom, an adult bunk bedroom and a family room with 2 double bed and a single bed with en-suite shower room, sink and toilet. There is a bath/shower, sink and toilet adjacent to the Twin bedroom and lounge. The lounge room has 4 settees and arm chair, Televison with SKY and WiFi. It has a large dining room with a large table which can sit 10/12 people easily plus small table that can sit 2 people. The kitchen which is adjacent to the dining room is equipped with electric cooker, dishwasher, larder fridge, toaster, microwave and kettle. The laundry room outside the kitchen has a washer drier and upright fridge freezer. The patio garden has a large Gas BBQ, tables and chairs. The entrance porch a small fridge and freezer, and tea and coffee facilities. Outside there is off road parking for up to 4 cars.
The adjacent Cottage can sleep up to 4. It has a double bed with en-suite shower room with toilet and sink. The living room has a sofa bed, small table and chairs and televison, The kitchen area has a electric cooker, fridge, washing machine, toaster and kettle. The Cottage makes up the 5th bedroom included in the price tariff. It is in the same ground but it is 20 yards away.
Booking preferably; Monday to Friday, Friday to Monday, Friday to Friday unless otherwise agreed by owner.
1. Arrival Time 3:00 PM onward, Departure Time please vacate by 10:00 AM.
2. Children are very welcome.
3. The properties are non smoking residents,
4. Unfortunately pets are not allowed,
5. Due to fire regulations, open fire is not allowed in the lounge fireplace.
6. No Bond required as we like to trust our customers but all damages or breakages must be paid for.
7. No confetti etc allowed on the premises.
8. Please be quiet after 10:00 PM till 7:00 AM.
9. Please leave properties clean and tidy before vacating.
PAYMENT METHOD: 1/3 deposit required to confirm booking. Balance to be paid 6 weeks before commencing date.
CANCELLATION POLICY: Free Cancellation 42 days before commencing dates otherwise deposit is non refundable. Due to uncertain time, we advise customers to take out Travel Insurance.
