The house gives direct access to footpaths. You can either hike or ride a bike going up the illside to villages around. Restaurants, bars and shops 3 kms away The property is perfectly located for exploring some of the most famous and finest places in Provence. There is so much to enjoy and discover while staying here. You can't miss the famous Mont Ventoux villages and markets like BEDOIN at only 30' drive and SAULT so famous for its lavender fields, nor so cultural places like Avignon, Vaison la Romaine and Orange. . At only 5 kms away from the property are the The Monts de Vaucluse mountains with wonderful and famous dry stone made villages doted with historic borries to visit as Venasque or Gordes. Less than one hour away and you get to the Luberon mountains and vineyards. Each day of the week including sundays is a lively and colourful market, where you can get the best of local goods and specialties. A list of daily markets is given to our guests. Most of the markets take place for centuries and are part of a cultural identity We particularly recommend l' ISLE SUR LA SORGUE market which is well known for antiquities and occupies the whole of the old village.
The house is build in a typical provence style, surrounded with large terraced grounds planted with olive groves, big pines and old oak tress;. On the groundfloor is a large living room, a kitchen and a dining room, each opening onto long partly covered and furnished terraces still viewing over to the gardens. In the living room a stair leads to a mezzanine with TV set and a sofa which could be converted into a bed . Eastside is a bedroom and a bathroom. A beautiful stoned staircase leads to 2 bedrooms upstairs with a shower room, one viewing over the countryside and vineyards another viewing over to the gardens and pool area. The pool area is an ideal place for morning length, with sun loungers for sunbathing and sitting areas for reading at the so pleasant shade of oak trees.
