A charming cottage with a lovely homely feel

By Zarina on 25-Dec-2021

"A charming cottage with a lovely homely feel." We had a great stay at Thimble Cottage and the one issue we did have was dealt with quickly and thoughtfully. The owner clearly puts a lot of care into the cottage and there were lots of nice touches (and Christmas decorations) which we really appreciated during our stay. Super comfy beds so we slept really well, just look out for the low beams upstairs!

The perfect cottage!

By Sue Bailey on 20-Nov-2021

Thimble Cottage is a delight! Everything you need for your break is thought of. Lots of extra little touches are included- milk in the fridge on arrival, ice cubes ready and waiting for your G&T, tissues and torches in all the rooms to name but a few. The cottage is really well situated with a great selection of shops, pubs and restaurants all on the doorstep. An hours walk along either a cycle path or woodland path brings you to the Lost Gardens of Helligan - well worth a visit! If beaches are your thing they can be found by following the South Coast path to either side of the harbour. Any queries or problems Fiona is always ready to help and gave us so many good recommendations of places to visit in the local area. Our week in Thimble Cottage passed way too quickly - we will definitely be back!
