The Old Joiners Shop was the family’s joiners’ workshop for many years, finally being converted to a cottage in 1999. There are pictures in the Nidderdale Museum showing carts being repaired at the workshop. There is easy access with off-road parking in front of the cottage. The cottage has a spacious feel throughout with a fully fitted modern kitchen, large beamed dining room and lounge with multi-fuel stove. The conservatory features marvellous views down the valley and leads to a small paved area with a table and chairs, perfect for alfresco dining.

The main house bathroom, with shower over the bath, basin and toilet is on the first floor. Along with a twin/double room with far reaching views and the master bedroom, which has an en-suite bathroom with large shower and features a view of the village. The spacious attic twin/double room also has a toilet and washbasin and features Velux windows, giving you breath-taking views of the dales by day, and a perfect stargazing opportunity at night., With TV’s in the lounge area and each of the 3 bedrooms, families can spread out and watch channels of their choice.
We offer 3 and 4 night short breaks in low season, please see our webpage for details www.abbeyholidaycottages.com

Lost count how many times we have visited Abbey Holiday Cottages and yet again a lovely visit, although this time the weather was not on our side. We managed to visit our favourite places, but this time had more relaxed break, which was much needed and wonderful place to relax and rejuvenate.
