Description
Laburnum Lodge is a three bedroom single story Lodge set in 3 acres of gardens. It has fabulous views over a wide area of lawn across to the slopes of Exmoor from it’s sheltered veranda. It enjoys a good level of privacy being set back at the end of the site.The Lodge is equipped to four star standards, has a large twin/double bedroom with en suite shower wet room with shower wheelchair, an accessible double bedroom, a twin bedroom (not wheelchair accessible) and further bathroom with shower over. The L shaped living room has sitting and dining areas and a fully fitted kitchen including fridge freezer and dishwasher.
There are three acres of gardens, a children’s play area, games room, putting green and laundry room where local information and a range of guided walks from our gate can be found.

By Ian Knights on 05-Sep-2025We thoroughly enjoyed our one weeks stay at this excellent place. We appreciated all the attention that went into making our stay here completely trouble free. We particularly liked sitting out on the verandah and marveling at the views across to the hills and meadows over to the south. Our Lodge was equipped with all the essentials that our party of 4 needed. Given the fact that one of us had limited mobility we liked the fact that we could park for free outside the property. Everything was on the same level. Great. Having two bathrooms, one of which was a 'wet room', was very much appreciated. The kitchen was well equipped and an extra fan was provided as we experienced some really hot weather during our weeks holiday here. We didn't use the other facilities here as we were out exploring the surrounding beautiful country every day. In summary, an excellent place to stay. Many thanks to our hosts for making this such an enjoyable and pleasant place to relax and appreciate this part of the country.
