Villa Neroli is a very private, tranquil space, with a variety of areas to sit, eat and sunbathe- overlooking the mountains. There is a wonderful pool- now with a mechanised cover and a very efficient cleaning service. The local contact Pascal is helpful, kind and knowledgeable and nothing is too much trouble.
Clean, spacious, private. Good location (walking distance to the village centre, albeit up a hill). No complaints at all. Thanks for a lovely stay.
We have just returned from a great, relaxing stay at Villa Néroli. The villa is very spacious and tastefully decorated, and with six family members or friends, there was more than enough room for everyone. We really enjoyed the pool and garden and especially the far-reaching views towards the Estérel mountains. The garden is very pretty, with beautiful oleander, roses, lavender and even fig trees - the perfect location to relax and unwind. The villa is also secluded and secure and our family also appreciated the table tennis. We received a very warm welcome from Pascal, who showed us around and was on hand to answer any queries. All was beautifully clean on arrival, and the air conditioning most welcome! We were happy to just explore the local villages, and loved Montauroux itself, Callian and Fayence. It was great to just walk up into the village to the couple of restaurants there, and the food at the Marina was excellent, even if the service was a little slow on both occasions. We also enjoyed Histoire Sans Faim restaurant, with its Burgundy specialities. Neighbouring Callian offers a few reasonable restaurants and, like Montauroux, is pretty and characterful. Finally Fayence, a little further away, is an interesting town to visit, plenty of great little shops to explore, a colourful market, and some good restaurants. The beautiful Lac Saint Cassien is a short drive away, and we enjoyed kayaking and swimming in surprisingly warm water! We also ventured to Théole-sur-Mer, about 30 minutes away which offers beautiful little coves and beaches. Great for a swim in the Med! It was pretty hot for the duration of our trip and so walking was not really possible, but we did note that there are numerous walking paths to explore, particularly up near Mons. Myriam was very efficient and a pleasure to deal with. We would love to return to Villa Neroli again in the future.
